Manufacturers description
The Hustle 10 is a ski for freeskiers who make top tours and seek untouched snow. With a waist of 102 millimeters, it is suitable for riding in varied terrain with extra support in deeper snow. The Trueblend Free core has a mix of woods that provides perfect flex, initiates the swing early and provides increased power transfer.
A harder flex zone under the binding provides more edge grip and stability. Carbon D.R.T. is a mixture of carbon fiber and glass fiber that increases the grip on the surface.

Strengths:
A ski that lives up to expectations, not the best at anything but delivers in all categories. The ski is fairly light, which makes it playful and poppy. It is rare to ride a couple of teams in this category that bounce so happily between turns. Have tested many other skis in the same category, Atris, bent 110, QST 106 eco, etc and nothing matches the energy out of the turn like these.
The turning radius is relatively short for this category, which I like. Many skis in the 188 length usually have radii that are around 23 meters while this ski is 19. This definitely makes it less stable at high speed than other skis but it also means that you can have fun on the slopes and make more than 3 turns before you is down.
Fits well together with a tech binding. The ski is cushioned enough to be able to ride tech on piste in most conditions without feeling restricted. I have mounted a Dynafit rotation 14 on mine, which makes the ski much lighter than if you were to ride shift or duke. If I were to buy the ski again, I would probably look at an ATK freeraider to make the package even lighter.
Have ridden this as my only ski when flats have been limited in the roof box and don't regret for a second leaving my Rustler 9s at home. Have tried everything from touring and chasing powder in Cham, making tight jump turns in Gaustatoppen's icy chutes, to evening skiing in Ulricehamn. The ski delivered in all situations.
Weaknesses:
The ice grip is not as sharp as on an Atris, but this one also weighs noticeably less. Which is worth its weight in gold if you do more than two short rides per season.
There are skis that flow better in waist-deep powder, but these are not a pair of powder skis, so you shouldn't expect that either. If you want to float like a cork, perhaps a couple of QST blanks are better.
Summary:
Don't think of this ski as one you're only going to use on the slopes, because then there are better choices. This ski is perfect for those who want to carry a ski with them and drive 50/50 touring and downhill. I usually go on a mission in the morning and then put in a few turns on the hill in the afternoon. The skis work best in my opinion with a pair of meaty tech bindings to reduce the weight, but would probably have worked well with a shift as well. If you want to fit a piste binding, you might as well get a pair of Rustlers or the like and get a little more damping and ice grip.
This ski is therefore for you who want to have with you a couple of layers that do everything. A true one quiver ski.

Set up
Hustle 10 180cm
Salomon Shift MNC 13
For a more experienced ski with no faults, the Hustle 10 is an excellent work tool for long downhill days, whether you are with family, friends or a hiking group. The ski is dynamic and the carbon fiber reinforcements create a suitable stiffness without compromising slackline or backcountry properties. The Hustle 10 can handle every slope purely in terms of its model and intended use, if the skier understands that he is riding with a BC weighted ski.
Backcountry
I would personally compare the model Blizzard's Rusttler 10 and Atomic Bent 110 as an intermediate option. The ski can handle the stiffness and camber of the middle part in powder, but if you ride less than 30% down, the leg muscles really get to work. Unlike Rustler's titanium reinforcements are missed on an icy slope, the skis also miss a bit of playfulness, which the Bent 110 contains. I would personally say that this ski is in its element for a person who is transitioning from slackline to backcountry work, but definitely not for a skier who longs for a big time freeride game.
Weaknesses:
I can't find any major faults myself, but here are the most notable ones. The ski would need a longer rocker and somehow, for the weight ratio, Atomic's HRZN Tech solution to the nose. In powder, the ski is prone to a little dive and the stiffness of the tail creates a somewhat unnecessarily heavy pumping feature for driving and achieving full enjoyment.
If any part of the area is poison for this ski, you can see it on all Finnish slopes. Skis are by no means made for children's slopes.
Summary:
You won't be disappointed if you buy now because it will be discontinued after this season, it is better for powder work than Rustle but worse for powder than Bent.
I recommend buying it if you really want skis that, due to their weight, can go to work on a hike, but also perform moderately on the slopes.
