Strengths:
Very stable ski that can handle most of the piste. Have learned to appreciate the great radius of the skis, which is just an advantage in the snow. The skid usually has a span and lacks rocker. Thinks they worked the cannon anyway in really deep snow. Good hardness in the skis too, they feel stable and are doing well with speed.
The idea of the IQ system is good, where the binding is fitting into tracks in the skid and is only screwed with a screw. Have used regular bindings and a pair of turbines for the same ski. Just loosen a screw and change. There are also screw holes to back up the tie a couple of cm.
Weaknesses:
The IQ system has a major weakness. Because the skis have no metal inserts, the threads are worn in the holes every time you move or change the tie. I have left the skis to get helicoilin ore.
The fit between the tie and the track in the ski is not quite a hundred. It's a small game between tie and track, which makes you get a creaking noise when you go. Not so good.
Summary:
The skis are good much more easy-going than the specs say and do not feel so long. Also works very well in tight lane in woods and gutters. Despite the big radius, they are quite ok but hard to handle on hard surfaces. A ski that works really well in the snow. Stable and solid construction. The IQ system is a good idea but needs to be developed to work better.
Had preferred the ski without the IQ system. When the ski is finished, there is a pair of expensive dukes and a couple of regular bindings that only fit Blizzards.
Riding style: Only outside the piste with these skis.
Length on the ski: 191 cm
Riders weight: 85 kg
Riders length: 197 cm
