Strenghts:
downhill steeps
on and off piste
crud buster
fun in up to 18\" of fresh pow

Weaknesses:
ice - a bit of shovel-chatter at watering eye (thru goggles) speed
too narrow for deeper pow

Summary:
fun and playful solid ski, inspires confidence and asks for more carves. seems to initiate turns at will and on a dime
perfect allround ski, albeit lacks for the deeper stuff
the perfect travel ski for euro skiing

Model year: 2005

Strenghts:
Great in all snow conditions. I bought these skis in the beginning of the 07/08 season after selling my previous Dynastart 8000s which I'd felt were somewhat unstable at high speeds on piste.

I'd heard the new version were meant to be better at speed and they lived up to the brag. I used the Naxo bindings offered by Dynastar and took them touring as well. I ski several times a week all winter. I have skied these on icey pistes where they held their edge well, carved long turns on perfect groomers at high speed, done entire days practicing short radius turns on them, bumps for miles, lots of crud, jump turned down steep narrow couloirs with them and floated beautifully in POWDER. I always felt comfortable on them in every condition, not like I was fighting them - they respond very well, but are also very stable at speed.

They are a great all around ski, and except for the fact that the bindings I got are heavy, they are great for touring if what you love about touring is the quality of the ski down. I (mostly) ski and live in Chamonix, France. These are hands down the best pair of skis I've ever owned.

Weaknesses:
Somewhat slow to bring around in hard bumps (compared to my 165cm slalom skis, but what do you expect?) but just fine in softer bumps.

Summary:
Superb all mountain ski - makes you feel safe to attack anything the mountain (or glacier) has to offer.

Model year: 2008
Riding style: Off Piste 75%, all conditions, aggressive skier
Length on the ski: 172 cm

Strenghts:
most versatile ski I have ever skied on. (07 model) just skied in 8-10 inches of windblown crud, hardpack, bumps at Mad River.... these did it all. very quick edge to edge yet surprisingly stable for a light ski. I ski mostly in the trees, probably 75% off piste, and unless its an epic powder day, these will be the skis. I am 5'9" 170 lbs., pretty strong skier. I went short (165 cm) due to the tree skiing-- if I were more on trail I would have chosen the 172.

Weaknesses:
only on them for 2 days, but none detected.

Summary:
extremely versatile ski.

Model year: 2007
Riding style: 75% off-25% on trail
Length on the ski: 165 cm
Riders weight: 127 kg
Riders length: 5 cm

Strenghts:
Very stable, especially in crud. Float nicely in powder. Fine for groomed runs but will not make the snappiest or tightest of turns.

Weaknesses:
Slightly slower to turn. Not optimal on extreme hardpack or ice.

Summary:
An extremely versatile all-mountain ski.

Strenghts:
everything read the summary

quick, light, stable, versatile, fun, and i have heard they have good edge hold but i tested them on a powder day

Weaknesses:
nothing price? they are worth every penny though

Summary:
i haven't skied these but i was testing skis and i was on the '07-'08 version they were the most amazing skis i have ever touched i skied them in trees, bumps, powder, and crud and these skis ripped through everything they are quick, stable, and light enough for me to get around quickly i talked with someone who owns a ski shop and he said the new ones are an improvement over the '06-'07 model which i hear from everyone is a great ski so if you are buying new skis the '07-'08 sticks will be expensive but worth it there is nothing like them for something wider underfoot try the 8800 and the new 8800's are called the mythic rider so look at those if you ski powder a lot i tested those as well and they were a great ski but it just felt a little weird having 89mm underfoot when my race boards are around a 67 waist if you ski in the east grab a pair of the new 8000's otherwise you may want the version with the wider waist

Model year: 2007
Riding style: racer but thats over now so i get as much powder and woods as i can find

For me they are simply excellent both in offpiste and in piste. I tried themin powder, in off piste with compact snow and in piste with both soft and icy snow... I love them. Both last year and this year model

Weaknesses:
Not a weakness.... but of course for deep powder other models are better...

Summary:

Strenghts:
Works everywhere. Floats over paved trails almost without effort. Good grip on hard surfaces and very well-stocked in packed natural snow. After a couple of years they are a natural part of the body. Fits perfectly to my 80 kg.

Weaknesses:
Not world champion on blue.

Summary:
A ski that works everywhere. Strengthens self-confidence and delivers when needed.

Model year: 2008

Strenghts:
-Funks all over the mountain
-Bra like Telemarkskida

Weaknesses:
-Really so demanding

Summary:
Has mounted telescopes of the brand Link on my skis. Have now run about 2 months in St.Anton with them. I have been able to test the ski in different types of before and it works really well all over the mountain. You get a nice flow in the powder while it is stable and beautiful in the piste.
All in all, a really good and affordable ski!

Riding style: Telemark - allmountain
Length on the ski: 178 cm
Riders weight: 70 kg
Riders length: 181 cm

Strenghts:
Goes like the train, yet good grip when it's a bit icy. Great for some wind-packed snow on Åreskutan. Invites to high speed.

Weaknesses:
Requires a bit of the rider to get in turn. Easy to go a bit too fast in the piste.

Summary:
Kanonbra skid that feels safe and stable in all circumstances.

Riding style: The whole mountain
Length on the ski: 184 cm
Riders weight: 90 kg
Riders length: 182 cm

Strenghts:
Incredibly speed-stable ski. Just gas and put in the edges. Does not matter if it's cool and sloppy. Ev does not hurt to have some strength in the legs, so do not cheat on the gymnasium;)

Weaknesses:
Read above or do not forget about the gym.

Summary:
Clearly the best ski I've driven on if you're going to have it mostly piste. Ready everything. I have not driven a particularly nice sneeze, but the little I've gone has done it with a goodbye. Spring box, puckles, 1dm loosnö in pist, stone hair / ice cream, it can handle everything. Should you have a pistachio with allround features, stop searching.

Model year: 2007
Riding style: Almost exclusive pist in all shapes.
Length on the ski: 178 cm
Riders weight: 85 kg
Riders length: 185 cm
