Strenghts:
I have been on those skis for three seasons. They are mounted with the Dynastar Legend Early Tram AT bindings (same as Naxo NX21).

My previous pair of skis were Volkl AC 30s in 177cm. I bought the Mythic Riders as a dedicated AT/freeride ski, but they turned into my everyday skis the first time that I took them out. The Volkl have been gathering dust since then.

The Mythic Riders are the best and most versatile skis that I have owned. Ever! Amazingly quick edge to edge for such a wide ski. Carves a beautiful GS turn. Handles hard pack as well as soft snow conditions. Performs really well in soft bumps. Plows through crud and broken snow without a problem.

I have not had a chance to ski them in really deep stuff thus far.

Weaknesses:
Not the best short turn ski. Other than that, none that I can think of.

Summary:
Best all around ski that I have ever owned or tried.

Transition on any snow condition is effortless

Stability is sic

Great Speed with large shovel to bust thru any chunk field

Weaknesses:
They only offer 88 under boot at 178 and higher, would like to see offered at 90 or 95

Summary:
If your are looking for a true all mountain ski for any condition, look no further! The transiton from a boot deep powder stash back on to piste was just sic! This without a doubt will be my everyday ski in Park City for entire 08/09 ski season.

I used to ride Atomic ReX, great ski, but nevered offerd enough sidewall to transition smoothly from pow to piste. Also was not stiff enough for a bigger skiier

I'm a pretty big guy (6'1"/ 230 lbs) and these sticks floated me in the powder and gripped on the groomers like i was on a carve ski! Just an awesome all around experience. I f you like hitting tree's, pow fields and find your self on piste getting off the mountain, the Mythic Riders are PERFECT!!

Looks and feels like it will age well.
When you work really hard it does work really well on hardpack carving GS turns at speed with good confidence.
well damped in the sense that they is very little chatter at speed. good edge hold.pretty fast bases. high torsional rigidity.

Weaknesses:
not my kind of ski.
Rather stiff but not in a way i like. tips as well as tails are relatively stiff all the way to the ends.
Feels heavy (both in weight and swingweight. duely note that the ski was mounted with very heavy demo bindings but the swingweight is not affected all that much) for what is not at all a big ski. Energy intensive without the payback you get from a bigger wider ski. Plain bad in bumps, too stiff in the tips for riding crud without it turning into a jerky rodeo. Landings are like they are made from steel girder. hard on the knees.

Summary:
I demo'd it to see if i could replace my old, aging but trusty original yellow/black K2 190cm AK launchers for something a bit more modern, shorter, livelier, lighter and tourable.

I was expecting a lot and it is probably a good ski (it has been recieved well by the press) but was dissapointed.

and this is probably the first unpositive review of the ski

It is not a bad ski as such, but for a 178 it is bloody hard work (and i am used to 190-195 skies).
Yes it is good on the groomers, yes it will carve gs turns quite nicely, but so will quite a few other skies and better.

As for off piste. i'd say..either bite the bullit and get a pair of big bigmountain skies and work hard for every turn but get payback for your sweat, or get something like a K2 coomba which is lighter, fatter, more energy efficient and a much more of my kind of swiss army knife

incompatibilite des humeurs as the french would say.

Strenghts:
If you like to sail on the big slopes, it has a very good grip and is fast-paced. I have taken it both as slalom skiing and telemark and I think you get the most out of the speed at regular alpine skiing.

Weaknesses:
I think it is too narrow to give good bearing offpiste. It fits better for piste than off-piste

Summary:
If you mostly go pist but want to be able to make the striker offpiste.

Riding style: Preferably take offpist, otherwise pist.
Length on the ski: 184 cm
Riders weight: 95 kg
Riders length: 185 cm

Went one week on this, after a season at Goodha 191, has previously purchased Dynastar 4x4 Big, Atomic R: ex, etc. and had high expectations that this would give me "a bit of everything". Was not disappointed in any way but could only praise this ski, suited me and my ride style perfectly. Twisted, turn a turn, you can keep it forever without sacrificing Dynastarkänslan where compliance and response are nobility marks. Good cut, easy to get rid of without working, good for tired guys like mine.

Long turns in the piste go much faster than I dare to ride, there are no problems, cushions, good position on the ski and it's where you want!

Weaknesses:
Given what kind of skiing it is, where it is supposed to work, etc, there is no ...

Summary:
Agree with previous posts, a very worthy candidate for "will you have a ski, then this is " the price. After a week in the Alps with extremely favorable conditions, it will be exciting to try it in Kittelfjäll next week and then in Swedish mountain environment, I am convinced that this will be a faithful companion for a long time to come.

Strenghts:
Very good allround ski that can handle everything. Surprisingly good ice grip and speed stability in piste for a "wide" ski.

Weaknesses:
An all-inclusive ski is always a compromise so if you're looking for extreme ice, piste or loose snow properties, you'll get different skis for these purposes.

Summary:
Is very pleased with the ski after a week's offpiste ride in Tignes. Being an old pistoler who used to drive with racing GS skis, has therefore been skeptical about skating all the time, as I always praise skis with good ice grip and good high speed traits. However, Mythic Rider is so good that I will not go back to my speed samples. If you want a ski for all sorts of occasions then these plank is absolutely perfect.

Strenghts:
A ski that is easy to agree with and does not break on any surface.

Weaknesses:
An allround ski is a compromise, but Mythic Rider is a very competent compromise.

Summary:
As an old Pisträvoch high-speed lover, I have always given priority to RS competition slides with good ice grip. Mythic Rider surprised me with good ice grip and high speed features. It's only us really heavy load in icey slopes as they get a bit creepy. I do not have any experience with really wide layers, but after a loose week in Tignes, I can certainly recommend Mythic Rider as a good compromise without any real weaknesses.
The only reason I do not give 5 ratings is that an allound ski is, remains and will always be a compromise. If you do not have the time, advice or desire to have two or more skis for different conditions then I can really recommend these layers.

Strenghts:
Can only agree. Ridden them a couple of days in Arabba recently. Very stable in the piste. Helbra in loosnö but best mixed off-piste conditions (crowd, sneezing, harvested off-piste etc.).
Goes lung and fine in these difficult conditions. The afternoon sobs cut them at high speed without hesitation for a second.

Weaknesses:
Short wings in the piste (but there you can not ask them to work either). No racing car from the turn. Same thing there

Summary:
Undoubtedly good allround skiing. The best I actually tested. Should you only have a pair of skis, these must be good. Should fit Swedish conditions like glove. Going to the pillows is absolutely awesome

Strenghts:
Safe skiing that does not find any stupidities how to handle it. Especially good when you get into sledding / sneeing, just moving on. Feeling quite ok to get along in a piste where it has good high speed and really good grip.
Really fun to sneak off!
Clears tired legs / knees.

Weaknesses:
May be perceived as fragile if you are used to clean piste skiing, rarely kicking. The "big" swing radius can make it easier for other tourists in the piste, the skis turn further down / later than you think.
Clumsy to carry around.

Summary:
Cannon Ski. Want a couple!
