Dynastar Menace 98

About the ski: Next winter, Dynastar introduces the line Menace (80-118mm), with neon and Miami Vice inspired graphics. We tested the Menace 98, a twin tip with rocker front and back with bucket under the foot. Moderate construction, reinforced with metal, which requires its rider. Menace replaces the previous series Slicer. We found "a park ski on steroids" as our test rider Max put it. Richard Permin's hard ski Proto 118mm, which came in 2019, is the largest in the line, and is named Menace Proto next year.

Olle: - It was hard to think about. It is good a lot, but worse on other things. It is good at being all-round, can be worn with large turns. It is the right speed stable, but it felt a little uneasy at the end of the turn, the entrance felt easy. The tail is soft which affects. It was easy to maneuver off the piste, but maybe a bit narrow for skiing in the Alps. Rating 4.

Max: - It's nice, likes the graphics - it's great! Very stiff skiing, a real yardstick. A park ski on steroids. You should ride it fast! The tail is a little soft, which gives a little playfulness. The character feels very park, is a twin tip. Rating 3.5.
