Strengths:
Terrific All Mountain Ski. Requires some powder on surface for maximum effectiveness. Strong, Stiff, yet wonderful carving capabilities. NO SPEED LIMITS HERE, NO CHATTER, EVER> Will Blast through ice chunks and skied off clumps like they dont exist. No vibrations or harshness at all. Allows a decently athletic male weighing over 165 to punch down any run at max speed and stability with long stamina due to the raised height. Truly revolutionary ski worth every penny. The new model is thinner and has less titanium, i don't know what that is like but the 07-08 Magfire (MAGMA) 14 is unstoppable. Works in the woods too, if you can handle the longer lenghts these need to come in to support your weight.

Weaknesses:
Well, they weigh over 15lbs, and that's pretty damn heavy but OOB hikers will be used to this, and the rest of you should pipe down. The bindings are great (they have premade custom bindings, the new type) and are mounted low. The only weakness is that these ski's do not suffer crappy East coast US conditions lightly. The don't like to make small turns, at 80mm underfoot that's normal. They don't want to slide the tails, which is why they are so awesome in powder of all amounts. They will blast over ICE and hardpack like blazing meteors which can spin you do to: forward mounted bindings. I moved the bindings south 2mm for the Rockies and Tahoe. That kept the tips above the surface.

Summary:
In other words, for crap conditions buy a cheap pair of rossi's, for everything else, these Magfire 14's (MAGMA) will dominate. I must add a post script. I hated these ski's the first two times I took them out. They were heavy and hard to move and with fresh wax, supersonic over ice. This seemed to make them out of control. It wasn't until I went to a serious mountain (ELK in PA) with wide well cared for runs and good fresh coverage that I saw the light. These are the best ski's I have ever used. They can dominate tahoe, Killington and Jackson Hole. They will save you off the rocks and cut down the twigs out back. Truly a revolutionary ski. Buy them, they are cheap now.

Strengths:
It's a rigid and heavy skate that is a cannon in the back without flipping the tip as it starts to go a little faster and forces the skid at the turns. Simply a cannon ski.

Weaknesses:
The only weaknesses the ski has is really low traffic when it's not going to be right and is a little heavy-duty.

Summary:
At last a ski that you can go on when weighing a little more than others. Cruel skiing with quality both inside and outside the piste. Easy the best ski I've tested since 1997 when I started renting skis to get someone who suits me.

Length on the ski: 176 cm
Riders weight: 100 kg
Riders length: 184 cm

Strengths:
Powerful, fast can edge to an 82 waist. incredibly stylish 3D design. The waves (do not know what it's called) on the skis work, follow the flex for such a powerful ski. Tried them in Åre this spring.

Weaknesses:
not really anyone, a little heavy maybe but be the phase, you will go fast.

Summary:
Magfire is probably one of the BEST ski I've tested since Bandits came out. as good as in the outside piste. Elan looks better and better every year. Now they are buying in real ski stores and you see the old 80's brand pop up more and more. Najs, very naughty, I like very much .....
