Manufacturers description
Formula 88 is designed for one thing: maximum fun on snow. The only limits it knows are the ones you set. Lay it into tight carving turns, duck into the trees, or hit the park – the Formula 88 takes it all in stride with a grin. Skiing doesn’t get more fun than this.
A soft flex paired with a metal stringer underfoot gives the ski a playful character while still providing solid edge grip. Add a super-short turning radius and rocker in the tip and tail, and you get a ski that’s lightning quick, easy to maneuver, and loaded with pop.

Strengths:
All-round fun on the whole mountain with a focus on great turning ability. Soft flex and a gradual rocker make the ski easy to handle in all conditions.
Weaknesses:
With a softer flex and short turn radius the ski is not designed for Super-fast GS turns.
Summary:
This is a ski everyone should have in their quiver. It makes an average ski day really fun. Works fine in off-pist.
The wide tip and the rocker keep the ski floating. (From someone who skied powder on skinny skis for 20 years). A ski that is easy to ski, but also inspires you push yourself. Good job Extrem !
Model year: 2025
Riding style: Anything the mountain has to offer, from Powder to perfect groomers.
Length on the ski: 174 cm
Riders weight: 68 kg
Riders length: 172 cm

Strengths:
Grip, precision in turns, easy to get up on edge. Stable without feeling sluggish.
Weaknesses:
Like all all-mountain skis, they are not the sharpest piste skis. You have to push a little in the turns.
Summary:
Very funny.

Strengths:
Quick in turn with a good sense of control, it is brutally fun in the radius for being such a long ski, 12.5 at 182cm speaks for itself. Incredibly fun day on the slopes thanks for the test run Extreme.
Weaknesses:
Can't really find any, they require some thighs for a full day in the piste
Summary:
Great fun, challenging the rider in a controlled and wonderful way.
I completely trusted that every turn would be perfect, and it was.
It's been a long time since I skied with a big smile on my face every run.

Strengths:
Good grip on hard surfaces. Feels safe even in tight carving turns (maybe down to the promised 12 meter radius. Nice speed stability even in longer turns.
You have fun even on rock hard surfaces.
The skis really want to turn.
Weaknesses:
A little weak in hard turns on black slopes. Can then lose grip.
Summary:
The most fun ski I have skied on so far. Perfect ski on a hard Swedish artificial snow winter like this 24/25.

Riding style: Pist/Puder
