Strengths:
easy to turn, stable in chopped up snow, good in moderate amounts of powder (all types) and moderately deep light powder and moguls covered with moderate powder.
Weaknesses:
better options for ice and hard moguls. mounted 3.5 cm behind park line and 1.5 cm in front of big mountain line, the ski did not float deep powder as much as I expected and had some tip dive issues in certain types of deeper powder. Bases not as durable as I was hoping and 1 ski bent after days (but Fischer may replace under warranty)
Summary:
I skied the '06-07 Atuas which is suppose to the same as the 186 cm Misfit. Fun easy to ski 96 mm waisted ski that skis much shorter than advertised length when compared to standard ski due to full twin tip. Similar, but better than an old pocket rocket I tried for a run. If Fischer honors my warranty claim, I will likely mount back at the big mountain line to improve deeper powder performance.
