I bought my RSL at extra cost. They had been among the worst in the market, the salesman said and I believed him.
At first they seemed dirty. Everybody knows how fun new fresh steel edges are, so I enjoyed it perfectly. Everything seemed peace and joy.
But when I was out there, happily happily happened. I had just put a bell split when I felt something was wrong. At the moment I did not know what it was and went on.
After resting on a snowy river and going to put it back on, I saw what happened. One top beacon (plastic top at the top) had gone off. I went back where I had hoped and found it in the snow. A nice guy on ski slips fixed it free with a "plastic ball".
After that, they worked well, and I went home again.
Later I spent a week in Åre, and last day I saw something wrong with the ski. It turned out that the whole top had broken and the ski was slowly breaking apart.
I got a little sad and recounted the skis. Fischer was very nice and gave me a couple of new layers that I have not tested yet. They seem better than the ones at least.
