Hendryx 917 (Page 2)
Strengths:
Pistol missile with a lot of turn, up with them on the edge (the more the better) and cut ...
Moves easily into turns, on calmer yards it is easy to take tighter turns than the data sheet indicates, assume that it is the location of the binding and the Rocker that helps there. At steeper faster rides they cut larger turns.
Cut through slash and crud in a confidence-enhancing manner.
Feeling good with Rocker, the skate is ready bent when you enter the swing, just tilting and gasping.
The 917 is primarily a stable and reliable piste ski, but it also can handle some pillows despite the low width. 30-40 cm pow on a fairly firm surface is no problem, but I have tested in the bottomless of hardwoods, making the mounting of the tie and the relatively low board that they like to dive, but the ski is mainly made for piste (I had I wish I would like a higher board).
Gets stable on transport despite Rocker.
STH16 bindings, Duck mounted by ordination.
Weaknesses:
No direct, possibly the low board that fits best in the piste. But on the other hand it's a piste ski.
Summary:
• Stable and reliable piste skiing
• Also clears pads
• Slides easily
• Nice release from the turn
• Good ice grip
• Good finish and good durability on the top.
• Cheeky design

Strengths:
A very good pistachio that works extremely well in all pit situations.
Extremely good ice grip.
Also works surprisingly good offpiste, I think the skid overlays my old 190cm Völkl Katanor in this element.
There is NO possibility of getting out of the ski, the more you hit the more you will get back ..
And hang on now, I think, to be such an extreme ski, the ski is very easy for what it's delivering back!
The quality of the ski resort is superb!
Weaknesses:
Well, no direct actually, but the extreme extreme stiffness of the skis is noticeable when it goes fast in a messy, raid offpiste. Then it should be on guard so the ski is not cut or found on any other bus that you do not long for.
Difficulty :-) (I'm doing a lot with my 4th year old daughter and for this type of skiing there are skis that are much more easily plowed :-))))
Summary:
After about 20 ski days on my 917 I can only say: Hats off for Hendryx!
The ski has been tested in both Sweden and the Alps and I can only say that this is the BEST best ski I have ever traveled. (I've owned 67 pairs before so I have some to compare with.) That it would work in the piste was quite obvious but that it delivers the way it does in the 50cm newfoot loosnut really made me shark!
However, you should be aware that the ski works best for a strong and technically driven skier. It was a long time since I went on a ski that sucks the mustache out of the way this ski makes ... And then you'll know I did quite a lot on SL racestocks that are not nearby when it comes to sucking the mustache out of the legs ... and yes, I have been doing pre-season training this year with :-)))
