Strengths:
I got 'em used, I got 'em cheap ($10).
They're not bricks, they're controllable, and they're shaped.
Cheap enough that you won't care about running over rocks.

Weaknesses:
Older skis, not "up to date" with basalt fibers, etc.
Longer and not extremely "turny".

Summary:
If you find some at a yard sale, and you need rock skis or loaners or are getting started on a budget, these will do fine. If you are thinking of paying more than $50 w/bindings shipped, you're getting ripped off.
They ski fine, but newer skis are, well, newer, and more likely to still have sharpenable edges (my edges were sharpened to nothing before I got them). Certainly better than almost every not-shaped ski. Intermediate level.

Riding style: On-Piste (East Coast Pow which means blue ice and slush and groomers)

The coolest thing - but there are better options today. Keep up with good junk snaps, but they were only good at the offpiste.
Should try to drive telis with mine so we'll see if they live in Ferniepudret ...

nice skis that I came across for an affordable price. 3 cardboard. Then tyroli binding was included. Stabila who get in junkyard and with a great grandparent feeling in piste. carvar better than one could think in terms of the measure, 98/68/88. good flow in the loose nest and damn easy to operate in the air. Have actually made Misty Flip 720 on this layer.
Conclusion: purchase
