Strengths:
Loves to go fast and eats up anything chucked at it. Happy with big open turns but can be nimble when needed.
Only tried for a day at a ski test. Conditions were pretty good with day old snow.
It eat up anything that was offered. It liked steeps, pistes, crud, the bit of pow I found. Definitely a 1 quiver ski.
Weaknesses:
Took a bit of getting used to on piste. Seemed slow from edge to edge but then I'd never had 99 under foot before. After a couple of hours I forgot about that and they carved just great!
Summary:
I tried the 2010 ski now just named 'the Sluff' with no mention of Goliath.
Simply the most fun I've had in a while on the snow.
It really does want to go fast and loves big wide turns. I was slightly worried about these 2 facts but it gives you so much confidence allowing you to crank up the speed. It's really inspiring.
I think it is really going to improve my skiing. It's stable and confidence building, egging you on to go faster with each ride.
I have tried about 12 skis in the same category and nothing came close.
If you like speed this here's your new best friend!
Riding style: Powder-piste 70-30
