Strengths:
Turned beautifully and hung up when the frequency became higher.
Bar pretty nice in the little snow that fell.
Became my favorite of 15 tried couples in Sälen on the skidding weekend Nov-Dec 08. Both yaja and yaka jam tested. They only had the shorter lengths 166cm. In the slopes they were great fun and the description "swinging like faana" is fine. I love a little lower speed, a lot of turns, a lot of turns o shifting. These were more lively than my Fischer AMC70 170cm radius 14m and in fact there were only really short SL skis that came close. If you just keep your legs apart, Yaka Jam works as well as Yaka, which feels more like usual pistils
Weaknesses:
No real concept on ice but in nice piste they were wonderful.
Summary:
Turn, turn, turn :-) If you want to go to sleep, it works fine too.
A good allround ski when you only have a pair. Not further hard.
If you want to go fast and long turns there are significantly more stable skis.
I'll probably bet on these in 173 cm length (think it should be 175cm than the brochure).
