Strengths:
Edge grip, acceleration out of the turn.
Weaknesses:
Liveliness and lightness decreases stability on uneven terrain
Summary:
Very aggressive bite and speed/acceleration which can be a handful. These do not track through crud and uneven surfaces the way my old (very heavy and rock stable) Fischer GS RC do. However, the Nordica's seem faster. While the Nordica edge bite is more reliable, this may be due to the Fischer's having 60+ days on them, including many mogul runs. The Nordica's require more concentration to stay balanced fore and aft, because you'd better be in a very neutral position to soak up the deflections and slight coarse direction changes these rails experience when they negotiate ruts, dips and bumps.
Riding style: carver
Length on the ski: 176 cm
Riders weight: 76 kg
