Rossignol Arcade 94

Rossignol Arcade 94
Category: All mountain
Brand: Rossignol
Model year: 2025
Manufacturers description
The Arcade 94 is made for advanced to expert skiers who want a single ski for the entire mountain. It thrives on hard slopes, in packed afternoon snow, in the forest and in lighter off-piste, without feeling either overly demanding or sluggish.

The waist measurement of 94 mm, together with rocker in the tip and tail and span underfoot, gives it a clear all-mountain character. On hard surfaces, it can be loaded properly - the ski keeps edge grip and feels calm when the speed increases. Titanal reinforcement and LCT construction contribute to stability and precision, so it stands firm when you make long, hard-pressed turns.

At the same time, the Arcade 94 is surprisingly easy to handle in more technical terrain. The rocker profile, Air Tip and lower swing weight make it smooth into turns, easy to release on edge in tight sections and easy to control through soft snow, forest and moguls. It feels nimble from edge to edge, but not nervous.

The damping removes much of the vibration in slopes and on bumpy terrain, giving a smooth and controlled feel throughout the turn. With the fast-gliding base, the ski maintains speed well over flat sections and through heavier snow.

Overall, the Arcade 94 is experienced as a stable but playful everyday ski for skiers who ride hard, want reliable performance at high speed, and at the same time be able to ski relaxed and varied throughout the day.

Strengths:
A really nice ski that works on most things

Weaknesses:
Didn't find any direct weaknesses as I left now.

Summary:
Usually skiing on Salomon blank.
Wanted a more piste oriented ski now that it is often a little bad offpiste when I skied the last few years.
First bought a pair of formula 88 which I skied for a week. They were a little too tough on my knees and I was not completely satisfied with the character of them. Sold them and bought these Arcade 94
Went now v.12 in Åre. Hard in the morning and really sorbe' in the afternoon. They went very well on all surfaces. Was a little careful at first when there were big piles and so little rocker on the ski. But I quickly realized that it was not necessary. They went fantastically in sorbe' (late April snow) so it was only me who set the limits. On hard surfaces there was really good edge grip and I just love the character of the ski.
