Strengths:
All round strengths which became moe apparant after demoing 2008 9x TIs this week.
Much better feel and handling to the oversize versions on the market. You need to work harder but are much more rewarding to ski.
Weaknesses:
I miss the acceleration out of the long carve that a square tail gives.
Summary:
I liked the RC4 WC SC 2008 alot but way too short (165cm) for me. Kept trying to buck me out the front. The Rossy does not do this and I have yet to find a better ski for my requirements.

Going on these songs this year and the rating is beyond expectation ... absolutely senseless fun skis if you like pist racing like me :) Very fast-paced and bites very well on a tougher surface. It's going fast with these under your feet, very fast ... :)

Tried a pair of 188 cm for 5 days in Zermatt. Whole happy!
Just drove a piste (snow freak stopped for something else). The ski was hanging out in the short-range but it was clearly GREAT turns and high speed as the ski encouraged the most. Then it was pure skiing pleasure! Imagine 2 turns per 100th fall height meter, full speed in clean cut, a real shooter. Enjoyable butterflying on the flat sunside was also no problem but the ski wanted more. Tried a bit of hope, but there was (not quite unexpected) a little under the feet, much easier with the polar slightly shorter Rossingnol T-Power 9S.
Should maybe have a 5th but because it's going to be a race-skid and I just went free-skiing with it, I think it would be wrong for me to score that grade. It may certainly be a bit better anyway.

awesome skiing for the grand slalom. almost swings by themselves to have a wonderful ice grip to a fat clip in the swing. hope that a little tomtenisse leaves these skis during my Christmas tree together with me 1 pair of pow air.
