Salamon x-Scream 9 is a good skiing and a good off-piste skiing but feel unsafe in the piste good ice grip but gets quite boring in the long run.

Salomon has done it again. I did not think the ski could be much better from the 98 model but I was grossly wrong. The ski runs well in the piste as the train. Flares very little in view of the softness of the ski. But outside of the piste there's almost no beauty to go on. You can drip any fat but still watch landings not as nice design as last year. I recommend to the lieutenant fantasies to try the loose-eyed model, which is considerably broader. The ski could get a more beautiful look if they just dumped the plastic top. I own a couple of them and they are fantastic.

I'm running a brand new ski from Salomon, X-Scream 9 for the year. The ski is based on Salamon's X-Scream Series, with the difference that it's a bit softer. The cut is the same as the X-Scream Series. Price range is 4 800: - excl. Bond.

For me weighing 72 kg, the 9th feels quite right. In the piste the ski slides easily into the turns. The edge grip for this type of ski is amazing. It is extremely fast from edge to edge and allows you to travel with real cuts. The kick out of the turn is missing compared to the skis I previously went on. Even in higher runs, it goes as the train and the variation short and long turns are done without problems.

Outside the piste, where it is most suitable, does it go even better (if it goes now?). With this ski you take the sneak hike to a level that you did not think was possible. Likewise, it works on hard offpiste substrates.

The end result will of course be in the top.
