Strenghts:
Lightweight

Weaknesses:
way too fragile

Summary:
If you are using your skis regularly, I wouldn´t recommend buying the
Scott Superguide! It´s a lightweight, powerful ski but it´s construction is way too fragile. The sidewall isn´t very well connected towards the steel edges. I skied two different pairs of Superguides over the last season (around 40 backcountry tours) and faced the same problem three times: After a small impact under your boots the edges are detached from the skicover. One time the edge and the cover broke. Scott refused, to replace me the broken skies or refund my purchase. Four different friends hat the same problem with Scott skis. Superguide or Speedguide - never again!!!

Model year: 2020
Length on the ski: 183 cm
Riders weight: 70 kg

Strenghts:
Light, quick, responsible, solid underfoot. Handles almost any terrain or snow conditions from powder to spring crud, stars on the steeps, where it never fails to get an edge and provides a very solid base. Discontinued model, but if you cam find them, buy 'em. you will not be unhappy.

Weaknesses:
None that I experienced in a week.

Summary:
great backcountry / all mountain ski, wide enough to handle deep and soft snow, but edgy enough to carve groomers like rail road tracks. Not for timid skiers, but for experienced bc skiers, have not experienced anything quite as confidence building. This is a discontinued model, to be replaced by a Superguide Freetour. More money, but not much differentce if I can tell, if you can find the 2017-19 model, don't hesitate.

Strenghts:
Light, relatively stiff and could be driven with power and cutting turns when needed without becoming spaghetti.

Weaknesses:
Delicate, the core became mash when I stood on a rock. Should have been a real bite in the coating. Now the ski crumbled in a strange way. Side and steel edge came loose.

Summary:
Delicate but could have been fine if they held.

Model year: 2019
Riding style: Here and was mostly on the ground.
Length on the ski: 183 cm
Riders weight: 77 kg
Riders length: 183 cm
