Manufacturers description
The Howitzer combines our very best big ski technology in a 110 mm waist shell that has won performance awards. Rocker Logik geometry kills crud yet provides a conventional effective edge for turning performance and features proportionately less surface area behind the boot for deeper pow. Double layers of carbon fiber keep the weight down for quickness and skinning. Positive camber keeps it simple and versatile. The Howitzer is a stable ride that blasts the back bowls and the backcountry, tearing off vert like a missile.

Strengths:
Goes like the train in the piste when open and good ground. As a powder skirt, it fits my style even though the little rocker reminds me.

The ski is almost like an artwork, often gets comments on how nice it is!

Weaknesses:
When it is very hard or tight, the ski will not be as fun as possible. It requires some job and speed to make it happen.

Summary:
Went from a pair of salomon shogun to these, even though I walked up ~ 9mm in my waist, this ski is better in all aspects. Can only agree with former speakers that it is a cruel one-quiver and fits Swedish conditions shrewdly.

Model year: 2012
Riding style: Ski-Powder

Strengths:
+ Confidence in all types of snow
+ Good luck despite the width
+ Good flow
+ Fartstabila
+ Stylish

Weaknesses:
- Too much span and too little rocks for powder skating
- Requires power, speed or technology
- Slow down when slow

Summary:
A couple of amazing skiing! As all-purpose skiing for Sweden, they are second to none about prioritizing offpiste over piste and like to drive fast. I've been to Howitzern from the end of last season and tested them in everything from 3-4 dm deep cushions, soft spring snow, ragged and wind-packed offpiste to hard and hot pistons, and they've performed really well in virtually any situation.

Best of all, the Howitzer is in an open-air or wind-packed off-piste with a calm and stability that makes it easy to dare to travel quickly. They also work really well in the piste despite the width. As long as there is room and a good slope, I have no trouble carving with them. However, it should be said that technology, power and speed are required to secure them when it is hard.

The combination of very wide and relatively little rocks allows the skis to dive into deep pads. They are also quite rigid, which means they do not feel particularly good at low speed or in dense forests.

I have never tested any ski that has been able to measure with Howitzern (however, only tested 3-4 ski in the same category). If you are looking for a stable and versatile ski for Sweden and prefer the offpiste, I do not think anyone may be dissatisfied with the Howitzer.

Strengths:
Really good flow in loose nose
playful
Light
Brutally good edge grip
Stable at high speed
easy genuine
Adequate low radius for them to be fun on the slopes
Swallows all snow, cruel in broken offpiste
Awesome looking!
What you get gets you back from the ski in diversity
Good prepared from factory

Weaknesses:
Can be a bit sluggish in the woods if the snow is heavy, but if you have a few kilos and strong legs, that's no problem.

Summary:
Incredibly stable and twisty skid that works well on all sorts of substrates!

The ski like speed!

Stands well in the woods, but you can not compare it with a pair of rocking skis! Some think that the small track that is on the skis should be removed to improve the offpiste properties. I think the team can stay left as they float really well in loosnö anyway. In addition, I like that they are doing so very well in the piste despite their 110mm in the waist.

I have mounted a pair of Rottefella NTN on these. Is an experienced rider who goes with great power and good technology. Have so far 10 days on these skis this season and have driven mass on different surfaces during those days.

Howitzer is a ski that performs well on all surfaces!

Should you only have a ski is this ski you should have!

Strengths:
Premiere trip in Kåbbdalis today:)
Fallen 15cm snow sometimes we were there, the piste fell to the raid offpist. what rockets:)
No matter what pops up in front of the skis they go on rails over 30 cm high lanes on edge or you just blow straight through.
First thought that I would miss my Crusade in the piste but forget it, they are incredibly easy to beat for their width, shortwave works well only if they get stuck. Bigger turns and more on edge, they are wonderful, like a grand slalom about. If you do not want to go with them, they'll be fine, but the sooner you go, the better they will be. I'm happy:)

Powder premier, (25cm iaf :) in Måttsundsbacken that opened today. Must add that they are cruel when there is more snow:) This must be the ultimate Swedish side, which all rounder:)

Weaknesses:
Trives well in normal speed in deeper snow but not when it goes really slow.

Summary:
For skiing in Swedish mountains, which will also work in piste, this is the complete right, can not fail with Howitzern.

Strengths:
violent edge grip
clear magnificent character! cope with how much speed anyway
really twisty and stable
sickly handsome
very lightweight

Weaknesses:
not that real flow in pillows, a little too tight and too much span for it.

Summary:
really good skiing for Scandinavia, perfect as the only ski!

Strengths:
Makalously stable in speed. Fast !!! and well-designed dirkete from factory which is rare. Light for its size. Twisted as few and very good ice cubes. The "Tapered" top makes them forgiving in heavy snow and ice clumps, etc.
Amazingly good in snow and cushions, but not as bad as a fat giant slalom when it's wide and well-ventilated.

Weaknesses:
Unnecessarily a lot of pancakes and could have had a little more rocker. Because they are so murderous in the rock and quite stiff they are no longer welcome in forests and slow down. These planks should run fast both in pillows and in pistons, and they will do their best. With mounting 15-20mm further behind the BC mark, however, they dive better and pivot easily into pads, but then get a little slower into pivoting.
All of this, however, is tiny on a fantastic slide!

Summary:
An amazing top trip skiing, cruel allmountain if you like speed and can not decide if pistons or pillows are the best. If you prefer a short turn carving, you should look at one of the other models. Prioritize the pillows harder so choose the Bomb Squad that has a little more rocker.
Will run this as my main ski this year, and complete with a Depth Hoar for the pillows ...
