Manufacturers description
AC 50 may have been developed for poorly (rarely) groomed North American mountains and not Skistar's manchester but the AC 50 success from last year continues this year. A slightly upgraded design along with the wide bindings Marker iPT WideRide will provide both status and true ski joy this year as well.

Strengths:
Stable at very high speed, can jam into a short radius turn, just an overall fun ski

Weaknesses:
Not great in soft powder as it does not rise well from the stiff tips and does deflect a little in chunked up heavy snow.

Summary:
Love the skis and I keep them as an older option to play on.

Model year: 2012
Riding style: piste
Length on the ski: 177 cm
Riders weight: 95 kg
Riders length: 179 cm

Strengths:
Stiff, full camber, more rebound than any other ski. Tracks as though on rails. I have four pairs. Three are 184 cm and the fourth is 177 for those narrower trailed places like there are in the east.

Weaknesses:
No longer made.

Summary:
Get them. We are in an era similar to the ones of rear entry boots and mullets. Both were ubiquitous and now are all but gone. Camber is going to return someday, but until it does, search the ski swaps and send me any AC50s that you find.

Model year: 2010
Riding style: Piste, powder, hardpack, and crud. In the PNW anyway. I'd want more width in Little Cottonwood since that snow doesn't float me.
Length on the ski: 184177 cm
Riders weight: 73 kg
Riders length: 183 cm

Weaknesses:
A little sluggish

A great ski for most skiers on the piste. Also works well on em. when can be icy and embankments on the slopes!

Strengths:
Hard, really good grip, speed-resistant.

Weaknesses:
A little boring carver, I want more pressure in the turn.

Summary:
Good skiing but I keep looking ...

Riding style: 80% fast in piste, 15% slow in pist, 3% offpist, 2% Bierstube.
Length on the ski: 170 cm
Riders weight: 75 kg
Riders length: 175 cm

Strengths:
Lovely feeling and good grip. Stable and gives glorious speed fast. It gives me what I want when I go "normal" red and normal black slopes as well as offpiste. I want a fast, aggressive, easy-to-sleep and a sense of skiing.

Weaknesses:
When I squeeze them hard in the black piste that was very good slope, they felt a little unstable. But this is my fault as listened to the seller and chose a pair of short skis. I would have had a pair of 177. But I wanted a short cut radius and the seller promised me a very stable ski at least.

Summary:
Wonderful ski that fixes the piste and offpiste in a wonderful way. Good for me who is 2 children's dad who spend a lot of time in the piste and less offpiste.

Riding style: Black and red piste.
Length on the ski: 170 cm
Riders weight: 95 kg
Riders length: 175 cm
