Manufacturers description
The Blaze 104 is a light, flexible powder ski that is designed with riding pleasure in mind. The thin Titanal platform underfoot harnesses the power of the ski with little effort, creating an incredibly enjoyable and dynamic experience, right from the start. In tight terrain and/or tough conditions, their reaction time is impressive, especially for a ski of these dimensions. Its full-length Hybrid Multilayer Woodcore / Green Core and overall design targets short-turn oriented skiers, but the sidecut's 4D radius sidecut technology adapts to almost any riding style. In addition to hauling around the resort, the Blaze 104 also transitions into capable freeride touring skis due to their lightweight, yet powerful nature. With the addition of a shock-absorbing rubber material in the tip and trailing edges, the Blaze 104 rides high through the snow with power & playfulness.

Strengths:
Relatively light skis, easy to get on edge despite 104mm.Stable up to a certain speed. Shorter turns were no problem.
Weaknesses:
Slightly softer under pressure on hard surfaces - edge grip at higher speeds and on firm snow
Summary:
After a short weekend, the experience can be summarized until I am really satisfied. Coming from a Blizzard Brahma 88 -18 model so these are intended as a complement for forest skiing, shorter summit tours (Shift2 binding) and powder. Noted that it worked beyond expectations in the piste. Almost as nimble on edge as Brahman. But as expected, not as stable in speed and firm snow. The skis worked very smoothly during the forest ride in Kvifjell and with some powder. Unfortunately, I have not tested summit tours yet or a larger amount of powder.
Model year: 2026
Riding style: Piste / cushion / peak
Length on the ski: 186 cm
Riders weight: 90 kg
Riders length: 190 cm
