What a happiness that Völkl has produced a Skwal! Have drove on Lacroix and Thias Skwal for a couple of seasons and was looking forward to replacing my Lacroix, which is starting to finish. The monocarrier has a rough grip and is really stiff. Sleek bindings are provided with raised front and back heel.
Super quality as always from Völkl and a terrific feeling in both tighter push / pull turns and fatter laydowns. It was enough for half a day at the Monocarvern to feel that I found my favorite.
As it stands on the tail; Life is short - ride it hard. There's probably no better, even if I'm curious about trying out the new Lacroix X1
