Manufacturers description
Revolt 96 – The Wasp, Völkl's Urban freeride ski! This Twin-Tip ski is developed in collaboration with, among others, Ahmet Dadali. The ski has tip & tail rocker, which gives excellent off-piste properties, while at the same time it works excellently on hard surfaces. The ski has softer flex in tip and tail, so-called "Butter zones", so that you can jump and rail more easily. Revolt 96 core is a 100% multilayer woodcore with a sandwich construction and a high proportion of 45-degree fiberglass, which provides torsional stiffness and edge grip. The ski also has a reinforced steel edge to provide extra durability. The ski's 3D radius improves riding performance. This makes the Revolt 96 the most affordable and useful Twin-Tip ski on the market. The ski weighs 1920 grams and is an excellent choice for young people who like park riding but also want to ride on the piste or seek powder off-piste.

Strengths:
-Playfulness
-Torsion-stiffness
-Swingweight
-Softness
-(Weight?)
Weaknesses:
-(Weight?)
Summary:
Crazy fun skiing. Maybe the most fun I've ever ridden. The ski is crazy soft in the tip and tail but still stands up when you put it on edge. The ski weighs quite a lot, nothing I notice as something negative but rather that it feels stable. However, it can be negative for some skiers so the weight is both an advantage and a disadvantage.
I mounted recommended with look pivots and the ski behaves crazy naturally and is crazy easy to turn around for shifty or spin. Works absolutely fantastic in the park and I think it does well in loose snow too, although of course I would choose the powder ski. It feels great in the slush.
