Strengths:
Still carvers that bite great at speed.

Weaknesses:
Heavy.

Summary:
Best on-piste skis I have ever owned.

Model year: 2012
Riding style: On-piste only...ideally groomed hard surface for best effect...pretty useless in powder.
Length on the ski: 183 cm
Riders weight: 110 kg
Riders length: 191 cm

Strengths:
speed Stable
Tighten up to the edge
Twisted thief with a grizzled ice grip
Clean piste

Weaknesses:
Possibly the price

Summary:
After 6 days at Code Red 178cm I'm lyrical about how Völkl once again managed to get the combination of cruel ice grip without removing that playful and witty.
The skid is soft and forgiving and can be set as much as you want, put it on the edge, only the leg muscles restrict the curve's design, nothing else
A few hours later, the lactic acid starts to float in the eyes.
Tip o tail rocker makes it feel like a shorter and wiser ski than it seems to be

Piste racer de lux

I have 4-5 ski weeks a year and burn for them

Riding style: Pillows and Piste
Riders weight: 75 kg
Riders length: 185 cm

Strengths:
Very easy to initiate turn. Turns surprisingly tight in relation to the specified cut if presses and edges properly. Well dimmed without feeling dead. Exactly in the cutting edge and doing well at low speeds and tight turns without losing stability in high turns and big turns. Easy to read and easy to find back to the insert. Safe and accurate on hard surfaces and continues to impress in harvested piste.

Weaknesses:
Not as fast edge to edge as a pair of racing carvers with <70 mm at the waist. Nothing else! :-)

Summary:
Great piste skiing for mixed conditions. Holds all day in everything from hard ice-skis to ravaged slash! Enormously consistent and well-balanced damping makes you feel extremely safe even at high speeds on rugged surfaces. In fact, a little magic that the skid can be so versatile yet precise and stable. Clearly "premium class" among freestyle ski slopes. I have a pair of "black" which is 185 cm. Do not feel long at all ...

Riding style: Unskilled but safe. Drive all over the mountain except in the park.
Riders weight: 92 kg
Riders length: 186 cm

Strengths:
The skid goes on rails in piste and can withstand really high speeds. Is also light (feeling soft) at low speeds. Rented the ski in St. Anton for one day, but liked the ski so much that I also took them for the following 4 days. Went even in a snowmobile right outside the piste, was easy to go with. A good allround ski.

Weaknesses:
I'm used to skiing with tight FIS racing skis, and therefore became somewhat disappointed with the properties of ice. The page was difficult to get "bite" really well on ice. The ski started to chop when you really put pressure on the ice-creek.

Summary:
A really fun allround ski, not the best in abundant deep snow nor the coolest ski on ice-cream parties. Easy and fun to join in the afternoon back and high speeds in the morning back.

Riding style: Primarily piss, a lot of pressure in cutting turns
Riders weight: 75 kg
Riders length: 173 cm

Strengths:
Stupid, incredible speed table, good bite, swinging really well. Binding is enough more than well.
Will go fast and hard!
Works everywhere on the mountain, but thrives best in the piste.

Weaknesses:
Should be offpiste if it's soft, because it's too tight and narrow, but still works okay.

Summary:
Are you looking for a ski slope, it works terribly well. Both cold night and slash. Have tested it for 4 days in Åre under varying conditions.
There is nothing to complain about when it comes to pistons, but gets a bit too stiff in soft offpiste. However, think that it works clockwise like allround skiing if you spend the most time in the piste.
Requires a lot, but it goes like rails if you dare to push and go fast.
Very good glide!

After reading some reviews I had high expectations, and I was not disappointed! Totally satisfied!

Is not really so experienced, 39 years old, but it's a great skiing!

Has gone on Black, about 186cm.

Riding style: Mixed, most pist but prefer offpiste as soon as possible.
Riders weight: 80 kg
Riders length: 183 cm

Strengths:
Clearly course stable and well attached to most piste surfaces. Going on rails. Very responsive and dynamic ski, easy to change from long to short turn and easy to follow terrain at high speed. Half turn and turn in turn at high and low speed no problem.

Weaknesses:
Actually no, possibly the ski requires exact ride, right position, etc.

Summary:
Have experiences from several similar skis. The ski is a mix between Race Tiger GS and Superspeed. The ski slides easily and runs like a real race GS combined with good shorter turn characteristics. Requires a very good rider to get out of the way and then it is very compliant and feels like one with the rider.

Riding style: Advanced ski instructor style in piste
Riders weight: 92 kg
Riders length: 182 cm

One of the best skiing I went on, no surprises about the surface change during the yard. Goes on rails through piles, hanging on ice.
You can go aggressively or relaxed, the ski is stable no matter what

Weaknesses:
-

Summary:
Has The Code Speedwall, Red, Length 175-178 cm
