Strenghts:
Skis ANY terrain with ease. Grips onto ice as like no other ski. Very smooth at high speeds, I've never skied a more stable ski. Handles extremely well in the glades and on moguls - these skis are very easy to handle as long as you are aggressive. AC40's are amazing in powder as well - I've skied them during HUGE dumps of snow in Utah and no matter whether the slope was steep or a cruiser, it these was deep snow on it, these skies handled the depths VERY WELL. Before I bought AC40's I thought that "an all-mountain ski is the one that handles anything that the terrain throws at you equally poorly"... This pair has proven me wrong!

Weaknesses:
Although the AC40's are great on groomers, there is a downside. As long as you are making wide radius turns at high speeds, these skies will FLY. As soon as you try to carve out a short and snappy turn, they will chatter and feel very uncomfortable. These aren't the best small radius carving skis - there are other models made for this.

Summary:
AC40's do exactly what they have to. They really CAN take on the whole mountain. I loved every second skied on them.

Length on the ski: 170 cm
Riders weight: 127 kg
Riders length: 6 cm

Strenghts:
A somewhat heavier and speed-stable ski. Good edge grip works very well even in paved pistes. Able to run very fast without losing grip.

Weaknesses:
Compared a lot of skis for a week in Åre and these were hit by Völkl TigerShark 12ft only but I can imagine that the AC 40 works better in the offpiste if it is a bit softer.

Summary:
Mycet good skiing for most occasions. Farsan bought just this after our test week in Åre 2008 cost 7500kr.

Riding style: 70% pist, 30% offpiste. Have been 1-2 weeks / year for 25 years, think about when it is not the ski that sets the limitations.
Length on the ski: 177 cm
Riders weight: 75 kg
Riders length: 183 cm

Strenghts:
Good skiing if you only go to the Swedish mountains and like to go quickly in the piste and take a few cuts offpist without getting rid of it.

Weaknesses:
The ski is made for pistachio and responds like a pair of recesses outside the piste.
If it's allmontain, there are no big mountains we talk about without the Sälen family with the family.

Summary:
I'm hard to see someone like this ski.
If you like speed in the piste then buy a racer, you go offpiste so buy a wider skid.

Riding style: powder
Length on the ski: 184 cm
Riders weight: 78 kg
Riders length: 183 cm

Strenghts:
Tried the ski one day during Easter -08 in Åre and bought it directly. Just what I longed for. Seek an alternative all-round ski, with good off-piste properties, to my Salomon Axecleaver with 9.5 meter radius. They really fit everywhere I discovered - perfect grip in the piste under high speed, good offpiste in windpacked pebbly snow, pivoted perfectly in the softness heights I found and also worked well in the humpback puck piste. (However, not as good as the short Axcleaver skis)

Weaknesses:
Found none during the two days I went on the skis. However, could not test them in really soft snow, just old roughed snow with a depth of about 10 cm.

Summary:
A perfect ski for my needs! However, could not test them in really soft snowy snow, just old roughed soft snow with a depth of about 10 cm. There, on the other hand, a clear distinction was observed against the friend's test drives, which I also tried. It was a pair of 170 cm Völkl AC3 (= last year's model of the ski in the snap under AC 40). The AC 3 was noticeably more sensitive to the snow's unevenness and shrugged in the turns. Swings that barely felt with the AC 40.

Riding style: 70% pist, 20% offpist, 10% puck piste
Length on the ski: 170 cm
Riders weight: 82 kg
Riders length: 183 cm

Strenghts:
Folded a blanket for this ski, and bought it after a day's test. Rid before on a pair of funcarving skis (Salomon Axecleaver) with a turning radius of 9.5 meters. They are amazing fun in the pist and hump but worthless offpiste. Therefore, sought an all-round ski and advised the Council to try this. The first turns in the Åre 1000 meter were awesome. The skies were glued in the slope and accelerated so heavily from the turns that I constantly got backwards, but it was quick to find the right position. Offpiste properties were a bit difficult to test as it was the most windy pucky snow, but on that surface the skis went as stable as possible. Also added some turns in the biggest snow ranges I could find and that was no problem. They even worked in the puck piste in the hummel brant, but then you had to turn the skis around the pucket top or swing in the air, but it went!
In short, just the universal skirt I was looking for, very pleased!

Weaknesses:
Have not found any after two ski days in Åre during Easter -08.

Summary:
Dream Ski!

Riding style: 70% pist 10% puck piste 20% offpist

Strenghts:
Extremely fast-paced and with an amazingly good edge grip. The skis can be pinched on virtually any surface. Easy-worn and no problem at all.
What sets the limit is how fast you dare to go. It hurts quickly when you go down Saslong in Val Gardena ...

Weaknesses:
Heavy and a little clumsy when it's crowded. It is possible to drive the skid with a wrench, but it is much better with cutting edges at high speed.
Really too

Summary:
If you stay in the piste, like I did during a week in Italy, AC 40 is a good companion. How it behaves outside I have no idea about. But given the width of the ski, it should work well.
As I see it, the AC 40 is a good allround slide for Swedish conditions, where the substrate can vary from blue to moth.

Riding style: Piste
Length on the ski: 177 cm
Riders weight: 82 kg
Riders length: 190 cm

Strenghts:
A ski that seems to fit in most conditions. I've never tried something that goes well in the piste like this ski, stable in all the shifts and yet easy-going. Cruel even offpiste, though, I have not done much with the ski.

Weaknesses:
Should in such cases be the price.

Summary:
A ski in absolute top class. Seems to be without restrictions.

Riding style: 80% piste the rest of the time it prepares.
Length on the ski: 177 cm
Riders weight: 80 kg
Riders length: 180 cm
