Manufacturers description
The Ragnarok is all about travelling at mach speed on any sort of terrain; the ski is a pure big mountain gun designed to handle any snow conditions at any speed. A stiff charging ski with an impressive high speed edge hold though with a 300mm tip rocker for maximum floatation in the freshest powder.
The Ragnarok is for riders pushing the limits of big mountain riding, a ski that likes speed and
extreme lines for free skiing and free ride competition.

Fred Syversen's Pro Model and the ski that inspired Jeremy Nobis to sign for Whitedot Freeride.

Strengths:
More easy than I thought from the product description. In addition to powder shooting, the ski is excellent in more harvested off-piste and even in slushy. Although the ski is tall, it experiences shorter shots with its front rocker, so even narrower sections where fast turns are going well.
To make full use of the ski's characteristics, an aggressive ride with high rides is recommended (gets a really good flow up on the snow). Then the ski comes in its correct element.

Weaknesses:
A hard pisted hill is of course not the right environment, but if you get there, the ski is more experienced like an old traditional ski where every turn is "kasas" through. Not particularly convenient.
Like many other wide skis, a lot of thigh muscles are required. This rigid ski may require more than you can imagine.
The weight of the ski feels especially when climbing / randonee.

Summary:
My skiing experience is a number of weeks a year since childbirth. Started moving more outside the slopes of my teens and is now 36 years old. Ragnarok tested last season and bought me for this winter (tested with traditional rent / test binding, my own is now with Marker Barons).

Try the ski, you might be as surprised as me.
