Strengths:
You need them for hiking if you do not want to boot or you are going with a group of skiers.
Weaknesses:
Baseplate and backplate. The baseplate is mad of almost pure Aluminium and it looks to be cast. This is very poor for durability and strength for snowboarding with them. Sins pure Aluminium is the weakest of the different Aluminium alloys its only a question of time until they break or a higher load. I broke four this year and you lose time and your snowboarding vacation if your not lucky and can find spare parts local. Burtons customer support is very slow.

Its really fun to ride with them and they work great before they break and than its a shit show.
