Strengths:
Very nice, sitting well on the foot.
Shapes after the foot.
Easy.
Sturdy and good lacing, giving even pressure to the foot.
Reasonable pricing.
Weaknesses:
Summary:
A very nice snowboard shoes. Does not push anywhere and sits well on the foot.
On the verge of too soft I sometimes thought, but it's a treat.
In skon I have mostly taken long pistes in Chamonix and drove in a park at Kungsberget.
When you get fast and sharp, I could sometimes wish I had some more support from shoe, but it is clear that the tie will be done too.
In park and hope, Shon worked clockwise for me.
What I found a little odd is that a size 11 is too small to fit into a Malavita EST bond size large.
On my bond, the upper buck is max intake, can not be cut anymore. Only then will I get my foot firmly in the tie.
If you follow Burton's own recommendations, a shoe size from 10 upwards should be used in a large binding. I think this does not work well after a couple of times I have done a little and it has begun to bring along.
Even the Malavita bottom plate is quite wide compared to an Awol size 11, it may be worth checking properly how shoe fits into the binding before purchase. Size 10, I think, fits better into a medium bond, otherwise it will be the upper buck for shortly after a time if you want to get stuck properly.
