The first few hours you have to ride a little wheelbelt because they do not flex so much laterally, but wheelbelt = cowboy = cool. The lateral flexion will improve after a few hours. In the long run, they are very straightforward and the hard plank makes you tighten the bonds pig-hard without pinching it, but you do not have to do just because they are so tight anyway.

They are not extremely heavy, but all those sturdy things must weigh a little more than the usual foam rubber. The insole is a bit dumb in landings too, but you can change it.
