Dundret reviews (Page 3)

I think Dundret is a good ski resort with very good lifts and slopes. It's getting even better now that its lifts are there. Everyone from professionals to beginners can go here. For those who are interested, the park is very well made with many big and small jumps, and also many rails. The best thing I know with Dundret off the piste is myself;)

Dundret should be invested because it has:
Good off piste
Hellner Stadium has good track
Cheap
Good pistachio
Good hotel

There is nothing at all bad! I live in Gällivare so I'm danced 4 times a week! So you say that thunder is bad! You do not know as much as I do. And I know that thunder is good !!

Dundret has a well-known reputation, not completely unprofitable.
Historically, a little half-timbered farm that has been plundered by greedy owners with goalkeepers and financial crime. However, it seems that the current owners are investing heavily. New lighting for schyssta evening soda and a brand new snowman system will be launched in 2010/2011. The cross-country tracks should apparently also be renovated from scratch for current world cup competitions.

By the way: Long season from October to April. If you can go you can go even when the lifts are closed for the season until the end of May. Mostly good snow access even outside the slopes. Sometimes over half an hour in the woods with gorgeously beautiful pillows that sometimes remind you of the light, airy snow you can find in Colorado. Good offpiste, if you know where to look. Pipe and park are there, but I'm not going to talk about it because I do not care. Good, wide and varied slopes with quite a few people. It is easy to find beautiful yak just in the woods edge, on the calf mountain and between lifts and pistes. Short queues and quite elevated lift prices.

Nowadays the restaurant is run by the pub chain Harrys, which is both good and bad. Shine food like at all Harry's, but maybe not the best pleasure. After-skin ranges from calm and quiet trubadur evenings to full-island with the most often shiny cover bands. The bar has enough of the humanest prices among all Sweden's ski resorts. For the evening entertainment there are both O'leary and Grand Hotel down the village. Kalas places both of them.

In short, a little hidden and forgotten mountain, which at its best moments is incredibly amazing.
Best time to go? Dark skating in December and spring winter in March / April. Combine with a scooter safari or snow kiting and you have a high season vacation to look forward to.

The thunder is very good. If you want to go offpiste, the best time is to go about in the morning. Some hopes for those hop-interested: P Nice view from the top and in the summer very good waffles in Toppstugan! If you have the roads past either in winter or summer, one stop is recommended: D

A damn good mountain that is good if you know some places. There are sick drops and pillow lines in the D-backens forest.

The pipe is also a nice place to go in the spring.

Dundret is a damn affordable place if you know the right places if you go offpiste. The slopes are also long and fun.

Dound is sick good.

If you want to go offpiste then go to Dundret in Gällivare. It's awesome with a lot of snow and there are big areas to go on.

If you want to park, Dundret is not the best mountain to go to because they do not put so much on the park, but it's a shame because they have really good conditions for having a good park because of that there is a lot of snow and good surfaces as said.

The BC BackCountry ride could be perfect if it were not because it blows very much and often. There are many places you can build your own kick and land in pillows but it's only when the weather permits!

There are also two places to eat there and one of them is a bistro that is a cozy place to warm and eat.

The ski passes are not so expensive but are like most ski resorts today!

Hope they are getting thundered this year, seems like they're going to run the pipe at least, always a plus! Snowman November 23-25, also a lift. :)
