This resort is the best in the Stockholm area and it is only 15 minutes from city.
Flottsbro has got a great snow system and the staff is helpful and kind.
The park is Ok and the pists are grate.
This ski resort is best for the average rider but it also works good for kids and "newstarters"

If you come to Stockholm, dont´t forget to stop in Flottsbro.

I ride a lot in Flottsbro and I really like it! As someone wrote, it is an advantage to be in place when they open, then you get nice rides. Always well groomed. Going with your own skis so easy to buy ski passes on the web (cheaper) and then just go there and start going.
Have started going with my 5-year-old daughter and what is less good about the facility is that the children's slope is furthest away from everything, there is no toilet there, which means that you have to go back to the inn or at the anchor lift for toilet visits. A "drag lift" or a band between the area at the children's slope and away to the other lifts would have been desirable :)

Have been there 4 weekends in the 25/26 season in good weather conditions and rented equipment all times. If you go there, don't eat at the restaurant, be there at opening and don't rent skis

+

-Close to me, the only reason I come back.
-The slope is okay and didn't get too upset most of the times I was there( largely thanks to good and cold weather).
- Not so much people in Tävlingsnacken (, when Familjebacken is open).
-Nice in the morning when it is freshly groomed and not so many people, go there in the morning if you are going there.
- K2 has a test center there
-They have a chairlift
-Well-prepared slopes
-There is a small park

-

- Extremely bad rental skis, the coating and steel edges look like they have been abused by an angle grinder.
-Unreasonably expensive ski rental, especially for what you get.
-Rather expensive lift pass
-Old chairlift that comes in at high speed, people often fall and then the lift has to stop.
- Inefficient lift operation leads to longer queue than necessary
-Expensive food of low standard
-Family slope (blue) opens later in the season than the other slopes, which means there are more beginners on the good slope.
- Crowded on all slopes except one
-The bus there goes very rarely, kind of impossible to get there by public transport at reasonable times.
-There is much more I can't think of now.

The picture is on a rented ski but I only took a blind on one and it was kind of the best.

Incompetent and rude staff, worst equipment, paid for 6 hours and went home after 2. The girl who worked in slot 1 on 1/02 deserves to be fired!

Unreasonable that you can only buy a 3 hour pass when you arrive 1 hour before closing and only one piste is open. So 520 SEK for 2 people for an hour.
Flottsbro is perfectly ok near Stockholm but it is not that good.

It was fantastic ground here this 2023 season, never too hard or icy but really good grip. Well worth a visit when it's a long way until the next ski trip. Minus too long walk from parking which costs too much and also quite expensive lift ticket for what it is.

Great considering the circumstances. Most often go any day of the week.
One lap takes about 4min (3:30 lift, 0:30 down). If you feed on for two hours you get 30 oak and 3000 fhm. Not bad pink for a Tuesday night in sthlm.
A big minus is that the slalom club occupies one of two rewarding slopes 4 weekday evenings a week. Sometimes even on Friday nights but then unofficial training with ambitious dads who have no time to go to the weekend's competitions north ("No official training today but we stay on edge. Is that good?")

Good slopes but great hope has been better. Nice staff and the children's area toa even the little ones who can handle steep slopes. The food perfect and possibilities for own food. Sadly though, they e long way to go to parking.

Excellent backs for children to learn to go in and for another to roast before going on holiday to the mountains or the alps.

May be a bit long queue in the crankcase at the children's back sometimes and there staff could be a little more active to help the beginners get away smoothly with the lift.

On the other hand, they have been stuck with the chairlift for a while, so it's running at a lower capacity (much slower than the anchor lift next to it), and they get a lot of downtime with it. The reason should be for easy power supply and it seems strange because it is not the first season they use it.

Unfortunately, I do not seem to get any info when the chair lift is to be fixed and when there are a lot of queues, it takes a lot of the overall experience in the slope and draws the score a bit.
