Good for one day visit. Personally I would not ski for longer than that since the slopes are to short. However Isaberg is a great place for being so south in Sweden and it has it's preferences, such as a good lift system (chairlift) which is kind of efficient. To few jumps which makes Isaberg a bad location for park skiers.

There is nothing better south of Sunne and Romme. Definitely worth going for a full or half day if there are reasonable people. Preferably avoid weekends and sports holiday weeks V7/8. Effective lifts good, several good slopes in different weather conditions.
Tip: check yesterday's webcams go the day after if there are few people. Then it is nice skiing. 6 chairlifts.

70 minutes for a bad fries

A lot of (financial) muscle contributes to this being Sweden's southernmost safe ski resort. Very good and professional staff and high class service in restaurants, cabins and ski shop make Hestra/Isaberg the first choice with the highest drop south of Sälen. In addition, with a railway station a la Åre only about 2km from the lift. (Went up with skis and boots in the pack in 20 minutes the other day. Perfect warm-up.) For the comfortable, you can take a taxi in just under 10 minutes. Since the 6 chair lift was built, it has become superb even for more discerning skiers. Steep and run-up you could summarize Isaberg with, it is not the best facility for beginners. But if you thrive on red slopes and are keen on a bit of a hump ahead of lunch, Isaberg is the place that offers the most and best skiing in "western Sweden". Here is a decent drop, efficient lift system, several red slopes to choose from plus a black slope that had not disappeared in Sälen. Add plenty of parking, electric car charging and two restaurants, one of which is really good, and this is probably the best you can find south of Värmland. Well worth a visit if you do not have requirements for real mountains or alpine peaks. It is the beginner skiing that is a bit meager, two short green slopes and a short, broken, blue is all there is. There is also no park, but some jumps and rails here and there.

Suitable for a day trip

the first time ever I ski in Götaland
you avoid pretty much all Danes because the border is closed :)
but as someone has written can the slopes on em. partly become icy

a bit cumbersome with the ski rental which is a bit far from the parking lot, however, the heating cabins are closed due to. of the spread of a certain referred to as "bacillus"

there is a shortcut to the car park if you parked high up via Norrliftens top station and the piste machine shop

Was skiing yesterday on icebergs was pleasantly surprised that it was so big! Great place to be so far south! Good family place if you like red backs! When I go to the maximal blue slope, it's hard to get through a red to get to a blue if you ride a chair! Works over then max one night. Be prepared that it is a bit to walk from the parking lot down to the slopes. Good to bring a pair of piggy bank puppies to reload if you're a family with children!

-the little way to go from the parking lot to the slopes with a lot of gasket. Should stand this on the website, so you know it's best to take everything out of your car at once!

Isaberg is a pretty good ski system, but is extremely hot in the afternoon and the slopes are going to be a joke after all the plentiful Danes. If they were to get a real fun park, they would attract even more visitors. If they were to have an equally promising park like Hanaslöv or better then they would be on top!

I was there nowadays and okay except that the Danes brake puck pistons in almost all slopes; (but the one who likes puckelpist is that pure dream:) but okay for a day

Alright! But later in the afternoon you can see where the name isaberg has come from. It has come from all Danes who think they can go skiing .. But it's good for a day trip, no more !!
