Ještěd - Liberec reviews

Not expensive but not worth the money either.

+ Travel time. Trains and buses from Prague (just over 1 hour with Zluty.cz), Dresden, Poland, make me give a weak 2nd instead of one. The tram up from the train or bus station down in Liberec takes only a quarter.
+ Backs from blue to red black.

- Everything else: m o h, fall height, length, rainy snow making, closed lifts, zero Gemütlichkeit, long distance for such a small ski resort, no coordination when the lower lifts are closed (other ski resorts with low-lying valley stations usually drive any of the the chairs like "food lift" to those who have snow or drive a ski bus there).

Maybe a fun chance if it's getting unusually good for snow, kind of half-day on the way to a little bigger ski resort (Liberec has a train every hour to Krkonosje - Szklarska Poland in Poland via Harrachov in Czech Republic).
