Kiuaskallio

Kiuaskallio is located in Kurikka, right by the Jalasjärvi church village, and is an easy-to-reach small ski area best suited for beginners, families, and relaxed cruising on the slopes. Here you get a straightforward layout with a main slope and a sledding hill, making it easy for the whole group to stay together.

Despite its small-scale profile, there are good on-site services, including rentals, a café, and a grill hut that serves as a natural gathering spot when you want to take a break and warm up. Kiuaskallio also has snowmaking and aims to open early when the cold arrives.

If you want to combine downhill skiing with cross-country, the area is especially appealing. From the ski center, there are lit trails and fitness paths that are groomed in winter, with many miles to choose from for both classic and skate skiing. If you want to expand your winter day even further, you can also rent snowshoes and a snowmobile through partner providers.
