Great for the kids, dedicated ski instructors and perhaps best of all: Slopes from the top that you can take the kids in early in their "skiing careers".

Kläppen is a very good facility, especially if you are or have a family. Great ski school for the youngest. Sjungarebacken's terraced house has an outdoor hot water barrel. They will expand the southern hill in a year or so. Calmer environment than others in Sälen. Weatherproof Gondola to the top. I have my own experience of and compare, among other things. with other facilities such as Åre, Branäs, Lindvallen, Whistler, Snoqualmie, Stevens Pass, Sierra Nevada. Anyone complained about the drop height? So about: 100 meters less than the others in Sälen does not matter at all. If you want to hang yourself at a drop of a few meters, it is no use skiing anywhere within Sweden's borders, possibly Åre is okay.

In addition to one week a year in another facility in Sweden or abroad, we always go a week to Kläppen as well, Sälen's best ski resort, and we have done that since the children were small, now they are adults and we still go there.
I think Freeride's review is misleading, have you been there at all, or is the review based on statistics? That 'the absolute majority of slopes would be green' is not true at all and it is also very easy to avoid them if you want due to the facility's fantastic structure.
Varied skiing in all directions, of course there may not be any World Cup slopes (despite that, the alpine national team trains there sometimes) but it is quite enough to have a fantastic skiing experience.
Food and accommodation are very good, of course in the middle of the piste may not be right in the middle of the piste, but check the cottage map carefully before you book and take the cottage that is most strategically located and you will be satisfied.
Highly recommended, if you have not been there then go there. Have you been there, go there again.

Wonderful place with Sweden's best park! Very good that not all the slopes are piste every day so you can take part in the fresh snow that has fallen during the night.

Not all slopes are piste every day, which makes it difficult to ride and increases the risk of accidents and injuries. Wants an improvement on that.

A good system for children and where you as an adult do not need to get bored as the variation in the ride is surprisingly good given the low fall height. Affordable and good food at Restaurant Tranan with smooth self-service that flows quickly at lunchtime. No big lift queues except for a handful of bottlenecks during a sports holiday week. Approved ground in the piste despite poor snow access.

Uncleaned cottage. Bad information the reception closes at 6 o'clock nothing in the room. In the middle of the post, the cabins were called loooong from the slopes. And a heating system that sounds so loud and stands next to the beds that you can not use the ceiling
