Finland is hardly known for high mountains and steep mountains. The coconut hill in Porvoo is a very small slalom center and the charm is in the homely. Kokonbacken is located 5 kilometers east of Helsinki and best to get there by car. Bus is a good alternative and the nearest bus stop is about 1 km from the hill.

The advantage of Kokonbacken is Borgås restaurant offering, which is outstanding for a small town of 50,000 inhabitants. It is very good to combine some turns on the slope before going out and eating on the town. Up on the hill you have a very nice view of the city, especially at the dark times of the year it is very nice.
