Laajis Laajavuori

Ski Resort Laajis is situated only 4km from the Jyväskylä city center. Laajis has 12 slopes, 6 lifts, 4 snowparks and a children’s area. The height difference is 105m and the longest piste, Koukkari I, runs for 914m. The slopes vary in difficulty from easy slopes at kids’ area to challenging snowparks and natural snow piste at the backside so all from beginners to more advanced can have fun at Laajis.
At Laajis one will also find Ski Rental and Ski Service, a Ski Shop and of course Ski School. The stored snow track and the network of 42km of cross-country skiing tracks offers challenges and great scenery starting early in the winter. An event of Ice Cross Downhill World Championship, the Red Bull Crashed Ice will be raced in Laajis again on 20.-21.1.2017. During warmer weather one can also climb at the Adventure park in Laajis.
Gasthaus Laajis and Outdoor Hostel Laajis are situated just at the bottom of the slopes to feed and accommodate skiers and snowboarders. Also camping vans and trailers are welcome to stay at the Urban Caravan Laajis. Just 300m from the resort one can find Spa Hotel Rantasipi. There’s everything needed and more for an active and urban ski holiday at Laajis and in Jyväskylä.
