Mount Sunapee

Located in central New Hampshire overlooking Lake Sunapee, Mount Sunapee is one of the state's most visited ski slopes, especially among skiers from the Boston area. The location makes the resort easily accessible for day trips and shorter weekend trips, rather than longer ski holidays.

The skiing is clearly piste-focused and well-organized, with a large proportion of easy to intermediate terrain. The wide, evenly sloping slopes are well suited for carving, ski school and family skiing, while more experienced skiers will find challenge on steeper slopes from the top area. The drop height is used efficiently by continuous runs from the top down to the valley station, which gives relatively long runs considering the size of the facility.

Mount Sunapee is also known for its extensive night skiing, where large parts of the system are illuminated. This makes the slope attractive for local skiers who want to ski after work or school. Snowmaking covers the majority of the slopes and contributes to stable conditions throughout the season, even during milder periods.
