Ormberget is one of the few Swedish legends mentioned in Transworld Snowboarding in the mid-90s, then as "Snake Mountain". Few remember the sign "Boarding prohibited in the lift" which existed due to the Skiboarden's dangerous progress during the early 80's. Finally, the staff was persuaded in 1990 to let us Snowboarders in the lift. A few years later we literally took over the place with the infamous double loaf. Over the years, there have been two versions of Half Pipes and various Big Jumps, which were huge compared to today's small lumps. A couple of fat big-jump competitions were held here during its heyday, and it was undeniably better before, but even today you can with a little luck catch a glimpse of one or two board veterans on the slopes. Ormberget has a place in the history of snowboarding as the training slope of many talented skiers - every day!

I've lived 200m from Ormberger all my upbringing. and I do not even know if it's called a ski slope ... but damn fun for kids under 13 years to go in. Maybe jump for the first time and something like that but otherwise it's just crazy

Eh ... You're aware that it's a baby back?
If you're under ten, it's a great back, you're older, you might want to go to, for example, Måttsundsbacken, for those kids up to 18 after that, it's unfortunately driven if you live in Luleå ...

Ormberget is good when you want to go to an ack and jibba a little.
However, very small, but the "big jump" makes for nice air travel ..

Asked me to receive the lifting hoop to get up for a first ride on Ormberget .. when I placed the bracket and waiting for it to go away, they banged and I stood still with the bracket in my hand. They say about all about Ormberget .. a real beginner back for children and only children. Nice view at night though, the only positive i come on.

Small hill with some jumps and a rail. A lift and a long lift queue. But a good back for beginners.

It's a little hill with a lift, a long lift and a little jump. A good back for beginners, but if you're good, it's not good at all, but on mondays and Fridays, the finishing touches are closed and you can go here if you want to go. cheap.
