Ovindoli/Monte Magnola reviews

Spent a sunny day in Ovindoli between Christmas and New Year. The car journey from Rome, for example, is an experience in itself with wonderful nature. Fantasy mountains and wonderful nature so far south in Italy. Hard to judge Ovindoli after just one day but clearly worth visiting. It may be possible to resemble it at Hemsedal in fall height and size. It was relatively little snow so no location for some excursions on the side of the piste. The snow that was found was largely natural and it was badly well prepared. Certainly a soft and nice place I would like to visit again but it may be hard to motivate choosing the Appennines before the Alps but combining it with city visits is recommended!
