Nice little facility, perfect for day trips!

Perfect for the family!

A place to go for fun one day, two lifts and have never experienced that there were lift queues there. Experience that the piste is well prepared for the most part and there is a ski rental on site with staff that are very helpful. There is a heat hob and there is usually open fire that is useful for grilling a sausage or two.
The negative is that the fall height is in the smallest team but works for a day on the slopes to train their turns.

Beautifully located about 2mil from Karlsborg. Plenty of lifts to keep up with the amount of skiers that the site attracts. I experienced the staff pleasant and helpful. I myself do not usually find that the smaller Swedish resorts have more than beginners, so I usually focus on hanging mostly in the parks. Good distance between the rails, fun and varied, had a cannon if it was added to a rail that was not box tex pipes. There is a leisurely jump where you can get in good speed for the size and pick a fair amount of air (perfect for beginners up to mediocre riders) if you want to train their tricks and landings. Had a wish for a jump which is a little less about 50m after that already exists so you can vary in one and the same yoke. Summary: A great place for those who want to start skiing and almost everything you need to master the park.

The facility is to be seen as a cozy complement to the larger resorts. You have backs that are quite ok and fun to practice and perfect for the beginner. I am a ski instructor trained in Austria, asked Gastein, but he has no evil to say to Stenkällegården at all. Has a cottage near Karlsborg and finds this little establishment cozy.

A nice place to warm up on the mountain holiday. Good service, for example: Ski rental, restaurant and ski school (I think). The place also has a very nice camping which is open in the winter but has its glossy days in the summer as it is very beautiful. Plus, all the staff are very nice and helpful. The only thing that may seem a little negative is that the slopes are a bit short, but they are almost everywhere at these latitudes. There is also a very cozy log cabin with open fireplace. They usually spray snow when weather permits. Stenkällegården is located approximately 1.5 miles north of Karlsborg (in Skaraborg).

Stenkällegården is located 1-2 kilometers north of KARLSBORG in westergotland. The reason is to be at these latitudes quite acceptable. There are 3 slopes to choose from in between. A great place to start learning to go skiing or slalom.

The snowfall is just a shame that the owner is a little snug with the snow cannons.
