Beautiful ski area, with very modern lifts. Off-piste skiing is excellent, on piste gets you back to the chairs. The village of Mestia has to be one of the greatest retro ski villages in the world, probably the way Aspen was in the 1950s. Also, bring your skins and get a ski guide because the back-country skiing in the area is incredible.
