I was positively surprised!!! Can't get any better in this part of the country. Clean and nice, good and nice staff. Perfect for being there during the day. Appropriately long slopes for children and adults. Not really good with parking.

Perfect place for night skiing. If you are looking to go all day, you will be disappointed. But absolutely superb for doing some good turns after work!!

Time to edit my 4 year old review - in that time Ulricehamn has changed hands twice and changed its name to SkiBikeHike.
The latest change of ownership seems very promising and two immediately noticeable improvements have taken place.

The first is the new snow system on the main slope. It didn't take them many days to get the hill going this year. I was a little afraid that the cannons would get in the way - but I hardly noticed them when I was riding.

The second is that the restaurant has received a major boost - finally. Now it's really cozy in there. I tried today's - a bit expensive but good food.

Otherwise, most things are the same. I like Ulricehamn's slopes, being western Sweden, it doesn't get any better than this. Perfect slope to practice your carving technique. 140 meters of drop height is not much, but you have time to get started before it's already over.
If you want to get a feel for edging, try the middle slope.
They have a narrow part of the hill demarcated for those who want to go up on their own machine. I heard rumors that there was equipment for rent (can't find anything on the website though).

The park seems to be the same, is never there though.
The beginner area is of course still there. It's a bit messy there and there's not enough space - which is the only criticism I have.

If you live in western Sweden and want to ski on home ground, there is no one better nearby. The next step up is Sunne - and it's a long way to go there.

Quite okay, 45 minutes from Gothenburg.
Have no great expectations, so you'll be surprised.

What lowers the rating is that Ulricehamn has one of the most ineffective queue systems ever seen. You are in queue for 15 minutes, while one third of the lifts leave empty. It does not make the lift card affordable, I think you go very little to the end.
There are fun jumps to do there, and on every back. It's a pleasure.

This was the hill where I learned how to handle and actually go snowboarding in just a few days. A great place if you want to learn how to go! The environment is incredibly cozy and the view of Ulricehamn's city enhances the feeling that you are far further north. The restaurant is very nice and the delicious Bogesund beer is fine after a couple of years. The shoe comes with super service and everything goes fast. Threw one of my bonds on the board but it was fixed in 5 minutes for 50 kronor, superb!

Weekends will be quite a lot of people during high season so one can get here a weekday it is preferable. It's not a giant facility but definitely no putty ball either. It's not their longest slopes but they are definitely fun and fun to learn to go in as said!

Is my home back and I think it's ok, not something big or spectacular, but it's perfect to go away for a while.
There are also some fun hidden places that can be fun ...

The 2009/2010 season was incredibly good for Ulricehamn! A lot of snow and a lot of people. Sometimes I sometimes feel too many people. They should get a seat lift. Even 1 or 2 to backs had been appreciated. Otherwise, I like Ulricehamn a lot! Good restaurant, rent and back. Can of course not measure with Sälen or Åre. But to be a relatively small plant in southern Sweden, it's really good!

The best year for Ulricehamn was 06/07 when it was snow, good with fat jumps and beautiful rails. but now it's for everyone, so no snow yet!

Uce is fine fish, but as said everyday it is true! otherwise you can as well go on a field or something! but as said a good place, good pistachio and a busy park for those who like it: P, hope for a longer season this spring / next year!
