Ortovox M2

A bad intermediate of a digital and an analogue transcriber.

The analog sound is bad which makes the search harder. The digital function is limited to showing only distances to the buried transan, however, the distance you get is completely analogous to the volume control.

I see no reasons to buy an M2, put the money on a full-featured digital transcriber that also gives direction!

Very pleased with my transciever, I think ... did not have to use it yet ... But it's easy to use and easy on training!

A really good tranceiver .. Anyone who finds it difficult to apply should try this one. Long range, powerful transmission and very accurate. To be the best tranceiver even for professional use.

Have tested Mammut, F1, M1, Pieps and M2 and adds a five to its ease of learning, and it has an unbeatable range than both Pieps and Mammuten. The scope does not apply to the manufacturer's own without the person himself measured in the field test.
The M2 is clearly a well-invested purchase.

Very easy to look for, if you train a little bit.
Feels robust and qualitative. Good that you can not wear it without turning it on (if you wear it correctly). extremely affordable if you think it may be the difference between life and death, for you or a polar one.

New purchased for this year, when my M1 raged last winter. A little bit smaller on the flood. Some think it's still a little confusing, but I think it works fine, just exercise it properly. Very affordable if it saves your life but make sure you learn how to use it and do not forget about spade and probe !!! =)
