Strengths:
Strong, pure carvers that can wiggle too, Very stable at high speed when on slight edge .

Weaknesses:
Crazy heavy. Squirrely at straight high speed - great if on slight edge.

Summary:
This is 2024 and I bought these in 2005. They still perform like new.after around 40 days of hard skiing, Lost several years due to knee and back problems but I'm back full tilt at 71!

Summary:
I bought the 2005 skis in summer of 2008 for $200 brand new off secondary reseller and got a bargain. These skis will tear up the mountain! They are easily the heaviest ski you'll ever carry in from the parking lot. I ski only a couple times a year and these skis have aged well. I see no reason to buy new ones as they continue to be strong performers and can handle any trail. Spring corn is no match for these skis as they will crush anything you ride on. To carve on these sticks is simply awesome!!!

Strengths:
They’ll do everything! Short quick, fast, moguls, powder. They deliver.

Weaknesses:
Heavy. Especially when walking to and from the car or sitting on a char.m

Summary:
You don’t ride these skis. You ski them! I started skiing with bear trap bindings. Yes, I’ve been around a while. It’s 2023 now. I was a ski patroller and bought these when first delivered by Atomic. Sudan Couloir, Gunbarrel, are a couple runs these have been on. I still ski them and actually have two pairs. I’ve demo'd many other “high performance” skis. K2, Blizzard, Volkl, etc. However, these new high performance skis are near the same price, $1200-$1600. Yes, these priced out at $12-$1600 new, way back when. If by some miracle you can find a pair, buy them! If for no other reason, than just to see for yourself. Pretty sure you’ll get your money back, and maybe more, if you don’t like them.

Amazing ski that will carve you through anything, just lean over and let the skis do the heavy lifting.
Moguls? These skis will eat those for breakfast

Weaknesses:
If you’re looking for lightweights, then look far far away. Skis are cumbersome to carry due to the two massive support beams running under the shell.

Summary:
Very capable skis that will get you from top to bottom in a flash! For the age, they still seem almost like new on your feet. I normally ski on Blizzard Brahmas which are completely different to the Metrons. The learning curve was not high at all. As long as you don’t fight them too hard they will give you a smooth ride all the way - would recommend!

Stabila as a breaker, regardless of the condition on the back, incredibly nice to carve with and works in the offpiste. Hittil's only ski that does everything really well. Great skiing.

Weaknesses:
Do not work anymore - Look at your atomic, not to continue with a winning concept. New could at least have released a replacement.

Summary:
Really cruel skiing that can force its skier. I love it and would easily buy a new pair if they were left when my ones started to be exhausted.

Very fun skiing that makes it easy to carve with, really nice!

Weaknesses:
If something is "bad", they are quite heavy in a chair lift without footrests, for example Ramundberg chair chair. But you can blame the elevator on its own and not on the skis.

Best rating I give this amazing slalom ski!

Tested these in Jackson Hole v-11 because I'm looking for a complement to my offpiste layer. I've run on quite a few tests and demo songs over the years and thought that Atomic Metron would be right for reviews and news thinking, but they did not give me any direct aha experience. After half a day, I'll give them a chance, but no more in and out of the piste. If it's the cutting and the ski's characteristics that make us not really agree? Then there are others that work better for me in each case.
