Salomon X-Scream Series (Page 4)

Tried the new X-Scream series in Pakistan during five awesome skiing weeks. As an advanced extremist, I have to say that the pro-link function surprised me positively. However, I did not feel that way. "Submarine Soldier" in powder due to the fact that proper skiers are required for this ski to show its "right me" in the sneeze. In short, the skis feel more like JAS. The G forces have strong wills, but X-scream has the stronger. In summary, it can be said that X-scream 99 is the all-round ski season of the year!

Sure, it's good, but is not that nice? I and more with me think it's a skate that fits after the age of 40, so no skiing for advanced friezes.

This ski is really the optimal allround ski as the piste is snap slower than a clean pantskid from edge to edge, but that provides a wonderfully stable carving feel at high speeds. In the off-piste, it is clearly not possible to compare with a skateboard with skipping rink's dimensions, but in snowy snow, it is still an incredible happiness and freedom feeling. Perhaps this skiing is a much better offpiste for a slightly easier rider as you float on top without digging too much. A summary; Wow what skis! Out with my Viper and in with these !!!!

A very good ski, like previous posts, I can agree on design changes that differ 98 to 99.

It's like a little bit too narrow for real deep snow, but for normal conditions it rips that fat. Whoever has written it is flattering, I wonder what he is comparing to. Salomon F9, is flattery compared to X-scream. Anyone craving my 99: or?

Jonas is it really X-scream you've been on if you say they're so narrowed? Not because they work in bottomless pillows but normal offpiste skiing, they work very well and run like tanks. The only thing may be that if you burn on, they can be a bit fluttery, make harder ski salmon ......

The "New" Xscream is exactly the same as the predecessor. DOCK with new design.
White text instead of black. White coat instead of yellow, as well as new "plastic flap" on the ski tip. Otherwise, the ski is completely unchanged in terms of flex and hardness.
Why change a winner ?!

A ski that is really suitable for piste skiing. Outside the slopes they dive down as the worst u-boat because they are so f-flat narrow .....

Solomon's new (old) ski does not differ much from the age of 98. The design is almost the same but still nicer. The rides are almost the same, maybe a bit harder flex. But still a whole-good skiing. (tested in: chamonix 1999)

I'm driving my Salomon X-Scream Séries PR8 (195 cm) fashioned as telemark skiing with 25 mm high Couloir Carver plates and Riva II binding.

This is the abslout best ski I ever went on! The skid has a soft flex with a very soft back part which makes it easy to bend the skid. Perfect for telemark skiing! Despite the soft flex, the skid is very twisting, which gives a good grip on hard surfaces. The skid is very well-ventilated, which gives full control even on the ground.

The skis are quick in short turns and stable in long turns. Due to the relatively wide waist it is slightly slanted on the edge, but when the edge is in it it is rocky no matter what is in the way. The skid is so lightweight that you are easily fooled to believe that it will be anxious at high speeds, but the faster you drive the more stable the skid will swallow everything in its path!

X-Scream works best out of the piste where it really shines regardless of the surface. In lice it raises light and invites you to hope and trix. In severe snow conditions cut
it by all means never fails. In the piste, it is no problem to get into deep cutting turns and challenge gravity. Should you notice something negative, it is the ice grip and the wide waist that makes the ski slightly slow from edge to edge. For pure pistachio there are skis that are better on single points, but as all-round skiing is the X-Scream
sovereign! I highly recommend this ski to all fridges regardless of whether it is loose or solid heel applicable.

Are you looking for that feeling that you can go anywhere. Now you can get it! Although I only had a few trips on these skis, I can already say that this is a very good ski run. A huge ski feeling where you feel like you can get a lot of skiing. This ski EAT everything and works everywhere. Maybe a little too heavy to make a really fat jump and a bit too much cut for the puck, but otherwise! Do you want a good all-round skiing. Buy Salomon X-Screm.
