Völkl Mantra (Page 5)

Strengths:
Sick good skiing! Have traveled with them in Serre Chevalier, La Grave and in Sälen (!). They actually got their biggest trial in Sälen, total blue ice after a lot of hard winds, went with them after a very hard run on the wall in Hundfjället. There was no problem. Other skiers dropped like coils down the wall (which was later shut down because of the ice), I could, however, stand on properly without any problems. The edge grip is cruel and they are ruggedly stable at high speeds.

Weaknesses:
Slightly large turning radius. For those who think it's fun, go back a pair of gotama fits better. Going back with the Mantra side is no problem

Summary:
Can not but add my warmest recommendations for Mantran. worked very well for me both in Offpist in challenging La Grave and in a rocky Sälen with blueberry. The skid works in all bowls and you like to go fast, you will not be disappointed - it's terribly stable with a terrific edge grip. I have been very skis in my days and tried many skis - these are clearly the best I've been to.

Strengths:
I drive telemark with this ski and am very pleased with the driving characteristics. It tackles most conditions and is very playful. As someone else has mentioned, you may seem somewhat unstable at high speed in the piste, but I do not notice this offpiste. Furthermore, the ski has a raised back up, which "almost" makes it a twintip ski

Weaknesses:
Pure physical, Völkl does not have any form of reinforcement in weak points such as front and back. This resulted in one of the tips being loosened in the laminate (delamination). Furthermore, the pencils are well rounded, which makes it a little difficult to attach slabs.

Summary:
Good skiing, but with structural weaknesses

Strengths:
Great skiing, which I think has all that a good all-round ski needs. Now I'm almost only in the Alps to see the grade from the persepit. But I'm convinced that it would also work on a bit harder ground in Scandinavia, though not ice. Moved in pillows is nice, certainly there are wider skis that flow better. At the same time, those days are available when you can go on large snow depths with deep cushions. However, I never experienced a tendency for them to dive something. Certainly, the cut makes you need to be a little more concentrated in the powder.
Mantran is correct as it mastered all offpiste surfaces.
As for the piste, it works outright well even there unless it's blue. Turn the radius of approx. 25 m, I feel that you shrink significantly if you want to, just push and flip a bit more. At the same time, they are a dream in a big sweeping grand slumber swinging without feeling worried.

Weaknesses:
Yes, it would be if you want 13m in turning radius and drive on blue because it's just forgetting. At the same time you are better off at the bar on those occasions.

Summary:
Can fully recommend recommend Mantran. Ridged earlier on a pair of cordless Pocket Rocket that was nice in pillows but that was also the one.

As I said, I almost run in the Alps and mostly partly offpist regardless of before, yes the exception is when there is stone and flat light or rain.

Strengths:
Very good at piste despite the waist. Okay, it does not go well from edge to edge, but you get on well and give it a lot back. Gets like the train on bad ground, eats all the irregularities and is not the least beaten. Good in the offpiste, the flow is there and it is very easily maneuvered in the woods.

Weaknesses:
Not the world's best ice grip. Shortcuts are also not the best, but that's not what it's for.

Summary:
Says like most others; SUGGEST GREAT. In Sweden, this ski is close to the optimum to get a really cool day in both the stool and the backside ...

Strengths:
Equal turning radius if you like to pour on the piste. Bits off really well on all surfaces if you can maintain edges and coatings.

Weaknesses:
Something hard behind, so if you do not watch a parkland, the mantra can, in combination with a pair of stubborn pjuxes, make a bit of pain in dads and legs.

Summary:
The bells allround skid, made for our Swedish wind pine pillows!

Strengths:
This is a ski that looks above all. The iceballs the skis do not crush they take over without being worried. With Mantra under your feet, you do not need to get nervous when approaching a bite-out party.
Very good grip also on marble-hard pistes. Stable - not the least flutter when it goes away.

Weaknesses:
One disadvantage is the piste properties. Even if the grip is good, it will be boring. If I'm going to go a lot of piste, I want to have a much more witty ski.

A little tongue to drag on even with a relatively easy binding (Diamir Freeride), there will be no really long walks on the hills.

Summary:
My best allround skiing so far.
Last winter I went to Mantra for about 30 days and they definitely spend a season at ;-)

Strengths:
Good allround skiing!
works ruggedly well in the piste is stuck (even in ice piste.) Also has a nice flow in the razor. very handsome and funny skiing despite its slight size. Have a nice metallic noise when driving over roughness.

Weaknesses:
No skis that can be jibbed with. Has managed to stretch a ski in the park. but managed to get a new one. therefore not as allround as many other skis.

Summary:
Really nice skiing to all rides except hopes. Everywhere the bell is running in the north, maybe a bit narrow for those days with really heavy snow. have spent about 100 dar this season used the skis about 50 of these

Strengths:
This is a very stable ski. plows through everything. They are quite a cut on it (because of a fat skier) so the days you can not find a good OP, they are doing good luck to pull out the piste and drive about everything and everyone. When you come out the perfect puder day, you have a skate with a nice flow. I've heard many complain about the strange sounds, I heard them in the beginning but were not disturbed by them, nowadays I never think of it. and, last but not least, it's really awesome too.

Weaknesses:
My personal opinion is that they could have been a little more twintipp on it, skis that gotaman watea and others have nice snow spray after they do not get along with this ski, but they're just for the sake of the eye. does not have much negative to say about it, it's no pistons, so if you complain about an edge in an odd relationship, you're not quite right at the ski. You can not complain about a slight flow in the powdered lixom.

Summary:
I am very pleased with the ski. I thought it was a bit hard at first, but I grew into it and eventually they were just driving.

Strengths:
A really good ski!
Of course, it's not possible to compare with a pair of pistilists, but to be 95 at the waist they absolutely do not get lost in the piste. I was richly surprised first time I took a turn in the piste with them. Going like a couple of big lambs, though, you have to work more to get rid of them.

It is clearly an off-piste skiing for all conditions berdvid pisten.

Weaknesses:
The only weakness I think is that the mounting point feels a bit far ahead. However, this is a very easy fix =)

Summary:
Have had over 100 ski days this year. Going for a couple of starters during the week when I have lessons, but as soon as there is an opportunity to go on the mantra, I'll take it.

Mantran goes like the train in all off-piste. I have been doing this season for years and years mixing and giving in terms of off-piste.

Strengths:
Really cool make !!

Lightweight, good edge grip, the skis are very good when you press. No tendencies to 'fall through' and slow down as many other softer skis have when pushing.

Fart stable and surprisingly easy-to-handle even in short-range (have not taken this wide layer before).

Have not had the opportunity to test them in pillows yet but do not think I'll be disappointed.

Weaknesses:
None so far ...

Summary:
Has rear mounted 1.5 cm and I thought it felt good. Very balanced in piste.

Regarding the length: I surfed a bit on Barking Bear before I traded and there people seem terrified to shop for the 191s (unless weigh 150kg). I do not understand these comments. Could have imagined an even longer slide .....

Once you go fat, you never go back .......
