Agnäsbacken

Ski resorts in Sweden
Agnäsbacken is a small lift system an hour inland from Umeå. It is a small system with a total of three lifts, one of which serves the children's area. That said, there's no shortage of riding space, and on the three lifts alone, they've managed to squeeze in 15 slopes from green all the way to black! A maximum vertical drop of 175 metres is not bad either.
There is a restaurant in the area and of course the possibility to rent equipment. For those who want to stay long-term, there is the opportunity to rent cottages nearby, or take a caravan or car and park in the caravan park right next to the hill.

Parts of Klangvägen also run in Agnäsbacken. Klangvägen is a collection of artworks along a hiking trail that emit sounds when the viewer interacts with them - and from Agnäsbacken, some of these works of art can be discovered with skis under their feet.
