In the small village of Asby in Ydre municipality lies Asbybacken, which is run by the non-profit association Asby Alpina. Asbybacken is a popular family slope, not only because of the affordable lift pass prices, but also because of its proximity to barbecue areas and the cafeteria. With two lifts and four slopes, there is something for everyone, whether you are a beginner or an experienced skier.
