Dackestupet

Dackestupet is located by Lake Virserum, just south of Virserum, and is an outdoor facility that works all year round but which in winter is about alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and sledding. The facility is run on a non-profit basis by Hjortens SK with support from Hultsfred municipality, Virserums Sparbank and local businesses, and has a clear home slope feel where much revolves around association life and the joy of skiing.

The skiing consists of three varied slopes, with a main lift and two lifts on the children's slope, making it easy for families to stay together and for children to grind laps at a leisurely pace. In the upper part of the family slope there are also jumps and rails, perfect for those who want to mix piste skiing with some park elements.

For those who want to do more than ski, there is a sledding hill at the top of the top, adjacent to the Dackegrottan barbecue hut, an obvious gathering point when you want to warm up and take a break between runs.
